Job Summary :

We're looking for a dynamic recruitment specialist to facilitate the full-cycle talent acquisition process - from sourcing and screening, to interviewing through offer process and onboarding. You'll hire across all levels, from skilled frontline professionals to senior leadership, supporting multiple business groups in the specialty trades industry within a region.

This is a high-impact role where you'll shape our recruitment efforts by applying best practices, following standardized processes, and helping execute our talent acquisition strategy.

This role is based in Miami, FL.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from requisition management, intake, sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, decision/selection, offer, pre-employment and onboarding
  • Identify, engage, and recruit qualified candidates, creatively utilizing market research, job boards, social media, networking & referrals, & direct sourcing to build candidate pipelines.
  • Utilize tools & resources including Applicant Tracking Systems, HRIS systems (ADP), and sourcing tools to manage and track hiring activity, ensure compliance, and enhance recruitment marketing and employer brand.
  • Recommend process improvements, advanced recruiting approaches, and staffing best practices to increase efficiency & improve service
  • Evaluate applicants by conducting structured interviews and reference checks
  • Coordinate onboarding with local HR Ops and ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Promote, and leverage and maintain all internal recruitment channels, including employee referral program.
  • Collaborate with leadership staff in identifying talent and develop strategies for critical roles.
  • Effectively build relationships with field staff.
  • Community outreach and networking.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with hiring managers to ensure hiring needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Use HR systems (ADP) and technology to enhance recruitment marketing and employer brand.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Commercial construction industry knowledge required; HVAC, plumbing, electrical.
  • Some travel is required, local and overnight.
  • Confidence using platforms like ADP, Teams, and applicant tracking systems
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed goals in a fast-paced environment supporting high volume recruiting
  • Demonstrated success managing full life cycle recruiting process including developing overall recruitment strategy
  • Experience working job fairs, career events desired
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

OVERVIEW

Alo is looking for a highly organized and people-focused Technical Recruiting Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This role plays a critical part in driving a seamless and high-touch candidate experience while ensuring operational excellence across the technical hiring funnel. You'll collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process while enabling thoughtful, data-informed decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver best-in-class candidate experiences by managing all aspects of interview coordination, including scheduling, confirmations, reschedules, and feedback loops for both virtual and onsite interviews.
  • Serve as the point of contact for candidates during their onsite experience-including scheduling, travel, and logistics
  • Partner closely with recruiters and cross-functional teams in HR, Admin, IT, and People Operations to keep hiring workflows smooth and aligned
  • Help keep our careers page fresh and accurate-especially when it comes to technical roles
  • Manage candidate pipelines and keep our ATS clean, up to date, and full of useful data
  • Pull and share key reports that track progress toward hiring goals
  • Pitch in on recruiting projects that help us work smarter, move faster, and improve the experience for everyone
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or a similar talent support role, ideally within a high-growth or technical environment.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
  • You enjoy working with data and metrics to spot trends and support better decisions
  • Proficiency in Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms is strongly preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
