As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying qualified staff to fill clinical positions within our agency. Our agency is growing and we are seeking an individual that is able to grow with us, that has a foundational knowledge of the expectations of this position and can work in an independent fashion.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Recruits qualified staff to fulfill current and new case needs on a daily basis
- Must meet a weekly hiring quota for RNs, LPNs and PCAs
- Meets with the Director of Nursing or Administrator on a weekly basis to determine staffing needs for the agency.
- Obtains staff for all open cases, scheduling interviews on a daily basis.
- Ensures all client shifts are staffed to ascertain client health and safety.
- Contacting, scheduling and conducting interviews for qualified candidates.
- Effectively screen all staff to ensure they are qualified for an applicable position as appropriate.
- Identify and attend job fairs and similar events to acquire qualified staff/educate on services of the agency.
- Search Indeed and other job boards for candidates and identify other methods for staff recruitment.
- Identify methods to recruit staff for the agency.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Enthusiastic, welcoming demeanor and professional customer service skills.
- Exceptional experience in healthcare recruitment.
- 3 years office experience minimum.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ability to create spreadsheets and databases with Excel and Word.
- Organizational skills and ability to self-direct.
- Ability to work independently and meet weekly agency goals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and facilitate duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to make sound decisions using appropriate judgment to ensure the health and safety of all clients admitted to the agency.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure staff adhere to all policies as well.
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

What You'll Do:
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for a variety of roles across field, office, and project teams.
- Assist with the development of sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates in the construction and trades markets.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through networking, industry events, job boards, and community outreach.
- Conduct screening interviews, coordinate hiring processes, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with business unit hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop strategic recruitment plans.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide regular hiring metrics and reports.
- Serve as a "face of the firm" in the Metro-Richmond construction and trades community, attending networking events and keeping our Richmond construction businesses top-of-mind as great places to work.
- Serve as a mentor to junior members of our Talent Acquisition Team.
- Stay up to date with labor market trends in construction and provide insights to hiring leaders.
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years of talent acquisition or sales experience with a focus on construction, skilled trades, or related industries.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Deep knowledge of trade roles (HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, etc.) and the construction hiring landscape.
- Prior experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), sourcing tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to proactively network within the construction industry in Greater Richmond area.
- High technical acumen with regards to computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.), and a willingness to learn new systems as required.
- Comfortable working in fast paced environment where priorities can shift quickly, all while maintaining a sense of urgency.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal), attention to detail, organizational skills, and a desire to go above and beyond for our team.
- Driving Requirements
- Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
- Must have positive points on state driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
- Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
- All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
