ABOUT BALLYHOO MEDIA
Ballyhoo Media is redefining out-of-home advertising with our innovative water-based media solutions. We enhance waterfront cities across America, creating memorable campaigns for clients like Disney, Amazon, HBO, and Twitter. Join our energetic startup and help shape the future of advertising!
ABOUT THIS ROLE
- Oversee campaigns and product launches: Project manage campaigns and launches through marketing, sales, and creative teams with minimal bottlenecks, consistent messaging, and on-time delivery.
- Monitoring fill rates and inventory performance: Your strategic messaging and collateral directly improve or maintain high fill rates (and revenue). When an asset underperforms, you diagnose issues quickly and refine the approach to boost demand.
- Sales support: Collaborate closely with Sales, strengthening pitches through data-driven storytelling. This leads to faster pipeline velocity and higher closing rates.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
● Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct audience research, competitor analysis, and market intelligence to shape targeting strategies in key cities.
- Translate these insights into campaigns that reach local and national media buyers, planners, and brands.
- Identify brands and verticals (from local businesses to national brands) that align best with our unique OOH offerings.
● Product Positioning & Messaging
- Develop and refine value propositions for our two core product lines (Passenger Vessels and Digital Boats), tailoring messaging to specific brands and/or verticals
- Partner with Sales & Creative Services to transform product and market insights into pitch decks, media kits, sales sheets, and other sales materials.
● Sales Enablement
- Equip Sales with local insights (market trends, demographics, psychographics, POIs, tentpole events) and product rationale, demonstrating how our OOH solutions help brands reach their desired audiences or goals
- Lead internal training sessions so that sales and marketing teams can confidently articulate our product benefits and differentiators across different segments.
● Launch & Campaign Support
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new cities or product launches—focusing on brand awareness and sales enablement—and execute them via channels like web, social, and email.
- Monitor underperforming or newly introduced inventory; propose strategic adjustments to ensure each asset’s success in the marketplace.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- 5-7 years in B2B marketing, preferably in out-of-home (OOH), media sales, or media agencies (OOH experience is a plus).
- Proven success running ABM programs targeting enterprise to SMB accounts.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM and sales/marketing automation tools.
- Strong sales-marketing alignment experience to generate high-quality leads and drive revenue.
- Deep understanding of account segmentation, audience targeting, and demand generation.
- Data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze CRM data, campaign performance, and buyer behavior to refine strategy.
WHY JOIN BALLYHOO MEDIA?
- An Opportunity to Create & Make an Impact – Produce high-impact marketing that directly affects the growth potential of a company
- Excellent Career Growth Opportunities – Be part of a high-growth company where you can take ownership, expand your skill set, and advance your marketing career.
- Collaborate with a Talented Team – Work alongside experienced marketing specialists and graphic designers to create impactful campaigns.
- A Unique Industry & Product – Help shape the future of waterfront OOH advertising with a company that’s redefining the space.
- A Flexible, Supportive Work Environment – We celebrate differences, foster a strong team culture, and believe in work-life balance.
- Share Our Passion for the Water – Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors and, yes, the occasional boat ride too!
BENEFITS
- Paid time off (PTO) starting after 90 days.
- Flexible (hybrid) work schedule
- Health, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days.
- 401k with company matching after 6 months.
- Opportunities for professional development and career advancement in a dynamic and innovative environment.
- A collaborative and flexible work environment that values diversity and fosters a close-knit family-like atmosphere.
