As an Associate within the Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis team, you will actively participate in the preparation and oversight of key standalone regulatory filings.
**Job responsibilities:**
+ Conduct variance analysis to review and ensure integrity of reported financial statements
+ Identify gaps in current reporting process and participate in the implementation of new controls and strategic solutions

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:**
+ 3 years of experience with financial reporting in accounting or finance
+ U.S. GAAP and relevant U.S. regulatory reporting knowledge required
+ Experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of products and markets in which JPMC operates
+ Control mindset, high attention to details and willingness to deep-dive into issues in matrix organization

Role Responsibilities- Perform daily/monthly transaction reporting reconciliation
- Coordinate with Settlements & Compliance to ensure all exceptions are classified & closed in a timely manner
- Identify recurring themes within the daily exceptions & escalate these issues to management for review, when necessary.

- Create & maintain a book of reports & metrics

- Partner with IT and Business Units in evaluating, recommending, testing and user acceptance of new technologies by contributing thoughts, ideas and recommendations to strategic plans
- Promote automation efficiencies throughout the organization which will lead to an increased level of control, enhance accuracy and timing of processes in addition to reducing operating costs
- Ensuring departmental Policy & Procedure documentation is kept updated

About The Team
Mizuho Americas Finance - Financial Regulatory Reporting is a team responsible for the preparation of regulatory filings for multiple entities under Mizuho US operations, reporting to Mizuho Americas CFO. This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at a Mizuho office an average of two or three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.
Summary
The primary responsibility of the position is to prepare assigned regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP and instructions from regulatory authorities, which requires working knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory reporting, as well as understanding of the financial industry and products. You are expected to support with supervisor for the governance function of the regulatory reports, which includes coordination of Regulatory Reporting Governance Committee, Interpretation Forum, and handling communication with outside of reporting production team. You will be responsible for regulatory reports across all entities under the Combined US Operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare or review daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to, Federal Reserve reports (e.g. FR Y-15, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, FFIEC 002, FFIEC 009, FFIEC 019, FR2644, and FR2900,), Department of Treasury reports (TIC Reports), and Department of Commerce reports (e.g. BE-605, BE-15, and BE-125) with the ability to interpret the relevant regulatory instructions.
- Reconcile reporting data to GL, validation of static data and perform variance analysis.
- Assist in the governance function of the regulatory reports, which includes development of trainings, coordination of Regulatory Reporting Governance Committee, Interpretation and Change Management Forums, handling communication with outside of reporting production team (e.g. Internal Auditor, Quality Assurance, and FRB).
- Monitor and ensure that changes in the reporting instructions and accounting standards made by the regulatory authorities are incorporated within the reports submitted.

About the Team:Mizuho Americas Finance - Financial Regulatory Reporting is a team responsible for the preparation of regulatory filings for multiple entities under Mizuho US operations, reporting to Mizuho Americas CFO. This is a hybrid position. The selected colleague will work at a Mizuho office an average of two or three days per week with the remainder worked remotely.Summary:The primary responsibility of the position is to prepare assigned regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP and instructions from regulatory authorities, which requires working knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory reporting, as well as understanding of the financial industry and products. Serve as a strategic business partner in completing and interpreting a variety of complex accounting and financial reporting activities to meet regulatory reporting requirements and support the timely preparation, review, production and distribution of internal and external corporate and bank financial reports and data submissions, including reports distributed to or filed with the Truist Board of Directors and Executive Leadership, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Federal Reserve Board (FRB).
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Provide leadership in the development, design, implementation and on-going management of Truist's Regulation W analysis processes including projects/initiatives with potential Regulation W compliance and reporting impacts. Assist with risk and control assessments to ensure the regulatory reporting function meets corporate standards that specifically relate to internal operating controls. Coordinate updates to controls, policies, procedures, and risk/control documentation. Manage and provide support for open risk, audit, and regulatory issues.
Draft materials to senior leadership summarizing issues and communicating solutions. Support reporting and analysis for additional constituencies, including Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and various regulatory agencies.
Apply knowledge of best practices derived from experience to assist in solving problems of higher operational or technical complexity by analyzing possible solutions using data analysis, experience, judgment, and precedents.
Subject matter expert on regulatory reporting requirements, business cycles and accounting flow for assigned area of responsibility. Maintain technical and working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), building expertise related to Reg W and other assigned areas of responsibility. Broaden understanding on more complex accounting and regulatory reporting matters.
Maintain a strong working relationship with peers, management, regulatory governance, and supported business area to complete tasks and deliver high quality work. Build relationships with cross-functional departments to broaden knowledge and solve more complex situations.
Assist with internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.

**Required Qualifications:**
