Job Summary and QualificationsA portion of the responsibilities involve managing/supervising/coordinating all day to day inpatient rehabilitation services. This includes utilizing a holistic interdisciplinary approach to coordinate the care of rehabilitation patients to assure a smooth, efficient functioning department and delivery of quality health care services. Acts as the clinical resource for the department. Leadership includes clinical management and staff scheduling, personnel management (orientation, performance evaluations, coaching, and other administrative duties necessary for effective operations. Utilizes Clinical Coordinators as a resource for clinical growth, staffing, and for the coordination/participation in quality improvement activities and audits as necessary, development of new programs and clinical procedures, and collaboration with acute/OP areas to promote department efficiency and customer service and assists manager as necessary to promote effective daily operations. Assist Director with coordination and management of clinical/volunteer/ high school student program. Supports department/leadership alignment and mission/vision of hospital. Assists with personnel management (orientation, staffing/daily schedules, and clinical performance, etc.).
Majority of the responsibilities involves delivery of patient care services: Continuously evaluates, develops a treatment plan and conducts appropriate therapy management to meet the individual needs of medically referred patients in an efficient, productive manner. Maintain accurate, current records on all patients according to the department’s policy and procedures. To supervise support staff and other departmental staff as it relates to patient care. This job supervises the day to day management of department. Provides clinical and technical support to assigned staff, coordinates work flow, staffing patterns, program development, inventory control and distribution in their assigned areas, assumes responsibility for following, monitoring and reporting of statistical guidelines and metrics as established by federal regulations, credentialing bodies, payer sources, and leadership. **Job Summary and Qualifications**
Supervises rehab services department and ensures that the care to patients is provided in accordance with the standards of care of the organization and meets the requirements or regulations of JACHO, Medicare, Medicaid, and appropriate licensing or certified boards. The lead is responsible for the quality of therapy service provided to patients and other customers.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Clinical degree in Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy
+ Experience: 1 Year in hospital therapy setting
+ Physical Therapy License issued by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners OR Occupational Therapy License issued by the Texas State Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners OR Speech Language Pathology Licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
A portion of the responsibilities involve managing/supervising/coordinating all day to day inpatient rehabilitation services. This includes utilizing a holistic interdisciplinary approach to coordinate the care of rehabilitation patients to assure a smooth, efficient functioning department and delivery of quality health care services. Acts as the clinical resource for the department. Leadership includes clinical management and staff scheduling, personnel management (orientation, performance evaluations, coaching, and other administrative duties necessary for effective operations. Utilizes Clinical Coordinators as a resource for clinical growth, staffing, and for the coordination/participation in quality improvement activities and audits as necessary, development of new programs and clinical procedures, and collaboration with acute/OP areas to promote department efficiency and customer service and assists manager as necessary to promote effective daily operations. Assist Director with coordination and management of clinical/volunteer/ high school student program. Supports department/leadership alignment and mission/vision of hospital. Assists with personnel management (orientation, staffing/daily schedules, and clinical performance, etc.).
Majority of the responsibilities involves delivery of patient care services: Continuously evaluates, develops a treatment plan and conducts appropriate therapy management to meet the individual needs of medically referred patients in an efficient, productive manner. Maintain accurate, current records on all patients according to the department's policy and procedures. To supervise support staff and other departmental staff as it relates to patient care. To assist with educational programs for departmental and hospital associates and to uphold the standards of the department and hospital by working with patients, visitors, associates and other medical professionals in a respectful, courteous manner.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
+ Bachelors Degree
+ Texas Licensure in Occupational Therapy (OT), or Licensed Physical Therapist
+ Minimum 4 years clinical experience and prefer supervisory experience.
