**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Nursing Rehabilitation Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Manager is responsible for planning and implementing the overall Rehabilitation Policies, Procedures and Services. Ensures efficient and effective operational management of the rehabilitation department. - Manages the daily operations of the Rehabilitation Department.

Experience

The Housing Rehabilitation Manager will work collaboratively with the Intake Coordinator and Program Manager to ensure clients experience a seamless transition between intake, eligibility, home repair and project close out. The Housing Rehabilitation Manager must be comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life.
The Intake Case Manager reports to the Healthy Homes Program Manager.
Job Summary
- Manage full lifecycle of residential renovation projects
- Conduct property assessments and generate full scope of work
- Obtains bids from subcontractors
- Develops, tracks and maintains contractor activities and construction schedules
- Conduct completion inspection to ensure quality standards
- Solicit bids and quotes from vendors and outside contractors as needed
- Makes recommendation of contractors to be used
- Develop contract agreements with vendors and contractors
- Develop renovation project schedules and budgets
- Approves construction invoices before submitting to Program Manager
- Maintains OSHA standards, manages job safety and reports concerns
- Maintain client and applicable project data in client management system
- Provides weekly status on each job
- Reviews job cost reports, comparing to original budgets and reporting discrepancies to the Program Manager
- Coordinate and lead annual volunteer project
- Identify opportunities and resources to further enhance redevelopment of impacted communities
- Work with various agencies to leverage resources that ensure families are made whole
- Other duties assigned in relation to operation of the home repair programs
Required Abilities and Experience
- Minimum ten years' experience in construction, home remodeling, disaster recovery or a related field
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Knowledge of Federal grant compliance with Davis-Bacon, Section 3, and others a plus
- Experience working with a vulnerable or marginalized population such as low-income families, underserved populations, or disaster victims
- Strong interpersonal, speaking and writing skills
- Excellent task management and organizational skills, including attention to details and ability to trouble-shoot
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to identify and analyze issues, and develop alternative courses of action using creativity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and network to build lasting relationships with a variety of contacts
- Knowledge of common computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of construction software such as Xactimate or other

Valid Texas Driver's License with appropriate insurance coverage.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to work flexible hours as necessary, to include some Saturdays, and travel for training as needed.
