The Reliability Engineer will support IPG's immediate and long-term technical reliability initiatives. Key deliverable for this role will be reduction of technical related losses with in IPG. This role is responsible for integration of robust PM Step 0 systems, SAP, AM Systems, the reliability pillar as well as training and direct plant support of restoration & Asset Care methodologies. **Loss Intelligence**
Analyzes / stratifies accurate data and information from records to prepare reports, statistics, etc. in support of continuous improvement of reliability across IPG
**Learning and Development**
+ Trains Basic Tools such as EWO's, Quick Kaizens, Tags, Etc to plants
+ Trains PM Step 0
+ Train Asset Care & Restoration concepts which supports the fundamentals Professional and Autonomous Maintenance

As a Reliability Engineer, you will support the factory in enabling and delivering asset maintenance in accordance with the Nestlé Strategy. You will utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as a multi-disciplined approach to enhance and improve fixed assets, while managing their life cycle through Asset Management Methodology (AMM). Your goal will be to achieve sustainable, long-term low production costs and high reliability, rather than focusing solely on the immediate correction of daily losses. In this role, you will partner with the factories to foster a culture of "Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss" in maintenance, aligned with the principles of Nestlé Continuous Excellence (NCE). You will actively champion Nestlé's NCE programs and provide support and coaching within the factory to eliminate losses, manage risks, and implement life cycle asset management (LCAM). Additionally, you will assist in master planning and skill development to transition to and sustain a proactive, planned maintenance program.
Responsibilities
+ Define, propose, and monitor the Maintenance and Reliability plans and objectives in accordance with Engineering Policy, Key Principles, and the M&I Activity as outlines in the Nestle Engineering Excellence (NEE) master document. Validate results achieved in the program.
+ Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.
+ Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices.
+ Lead the factory to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact). Ensure the systematic review of all line, processes, and utilities that are critical to the business and those where failure can have an unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety, environment, or compliance with the law.
+ Develop capability in and be able to coach and guide the use on the floor of Maintenance Continuous Improvement Tools such as BDA, X-Matrix, AMM, SAM, Tags,etc
+ Insure the implementation of all repairs/modifications resulting from Gap assessments, plant audits, and notifications and loss improvement activities
+ Master the use of AMM to manage the technical stores, scheduled Work Orders, labor hour allocation, equipment Bill of Material (BOM), system reporting and data analysis, including coaching of users and development of capability.
+ Ensure that the job planning, material and services planning process is appropriate, accurate and effective.
+ Ensure that the equipment history, damage code and root cause analysis are completed correctly and analyzed regularly for trends.
+ Update/Optimize Reliability Engineering tools and guidelines, to minimize unplanned and Planned Downtime, ensure a common approach, administration, and training
+ Utilize external suppliers, experts, other factories and corporate team to ensure proper technical solutions are defined and implemented to eliminate root causes.
+ Support implementation and sustainability of TPM-PM Pillar in the factory.
+ Analyze the factory M&R budget, drive value-added and sustainable improvements with the assistance of the Maintenance Engineer and Factory Engineer, as well as Corporate Engineering.
Qualifications
(BA/BS) in Engineering (Maintenance & Reliability, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or equivalent) strongly preferred or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work experience.

**MISSION / SUMMARY:**
The position is responsible for executing process improvement tasks and projects to reduce unscheduled downtime, increase life of assets, and enhance processes to improve safety, quality, and plant performance. The Production Engineer understands and aligns business operations and continuous improvement efforts as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

+ Support the facility capital budget to meet business commitments.
+ Develop capital requests, RFP's, bids, and recommend vendors. Hire vendors.Manage construction and quality control of new projects.
+ Demonstrates organizational agility by being able to find solutions through teamwork.
+ Develop and maintain accurate and complete spending forecasts
+ Discuss and lay out project specifications.
+ Make detailed plans to accomplish goals.
+ Review, approve, or modify product designs.
+ Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts.
+ Approve expenditures.
+ Review and recommend contracts.
+ Develop cost estimates.
+ Draft proposals and reports for upper management.
+ Check technical accuracy of work.
+ Service internal customers by continuously improving production and maintenance processes which directly impacts safety, efficiencies, and material and labor cost
+ Complete root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve efficiencies
+ Identify and implement cost savings initiatives that reduce plant expenses
+ Implement and share best practices with other food service facilities.
+ Contribute to a safe work environment by identifying and implementing safety improvements.

**DELIVERABLES:**
+ Process improvements are identified by analyzing the processes and applying analytical problem-solving skills
+ Safety and ergonomics improvements are identified through observations and interaction with plant personnel and issues are corrected using plant personnel and contractor labor
+ Cost saving targets are achieved by eliminating waste (time, energy, money) which reduces overall plant expense
+ Implement systems to improve equipment efficiencies using data to identify areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective actions
+ Support departments on as needed basis to develop training programs to keep the skills up to date as technology changes
**BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:**
+ Minimum 2 years experience working in a production related environment is required
+ At least 1 - 2 years experience of project engineering and/or process improvement preferred
**EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:**
+ B.S. in Engineering, preferred field of study of Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical
**SKILLS:**
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to proactively manage projects and keep stakeholders engaged and informed on progress

**SCHEDULE DEMANDS:**

**Job Overview:**
The Plant Engineer is a critical role in connecting field operations with the maintenance organization, helping minimize downtime and failure rates and maximize equipment productivity. To execute, position obtains and develops resources, and 3rd party contractors. Identify, assess, and minimize technical risks through successful project tasks delivery. Objective is to drive projects to successful completion, resulting in highly satisfied customers and product solutions which support the business growth objectives. The Facilities Engineer enhances service quality and equipment reliability by improving workflows and optimizing maintenance processes using Lean Six Sigma practices and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology. This position, a key link the site, provides input to improve equipment design, reliability, and maintainability.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Keep current with latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods.
+ Identify and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
+ Support Maintenance and Operations Managers in planning for equipment and maintenance resources and correcting existing discrepancies utilizing TPM methodologies.
+ Oversee work, set or edit standards, policies and procedures for vendors and contractors
+ Manage financial aspects including annual budget development, capital planning and administration. -

**Requirements:**
