As a Reliability Engineer, you will support the factory in enabling and delivering asset maintenance in accordance with the Nestlé Strategy. You will utilize Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as a multi-disciplined approach to enhance and improve fixed assets, while managing their life cycle through Asset Management Methodology (AMM). + Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.

+ Lead the factory to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence (priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact). + Master the use of AMM to manage the technical stores, scheduled Work Orders, labor hour allocation, equipment Bill of Material (BOM), system reporting and data analysis, including coaching of users and development of capability.
+ Ensure that the job planning, material and services planning process is appropriate, accurate and effective.
+ Ensure that the equipment history, damage code and root cause analysis are completed correctly and analyzed regularly for trends.
+ Update/Optimize Reliability Engineering tools and guidelines, to minimize unplanned and Planned Downtime, ensure a common approach, administration, and training

**MISSION / SUMMARY:**
The position is responsible for executing process improvement tasks and projects to reduce unscheduled downtime, increase life of assets, and enhance processes to improve safety, quality, and plant performance. The Production Engineer understands and aligns business operations and continuous improvement efforts as he/she executes their role to exceed customer expectations and align with GPI business, cultural, financial and operational objectives.

+ Support the facility capital budget to meet business commitments.
+ Develop capital requests, RFP's, bids, and recommend vendors. Hire vendors.Manage construction and quality control of new projects.
+ Demonstrates organizational agility by being able to find solutions through teamwork.
+ Develop and maintain accurate and complete spending forecasts
+ Discuss and lay out project specifications.
+ Make detailed plans to accomplish goals.
+ Review, approve, or modify product designs.
+ Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts.
+ Approve expenditures.
+ Review and recommend contracts.
+ Develop cost estimates.
+ Draft proposals and reports for upper management.
+ Check technical accuracy of work.
+ Service internal customers by continuously improving production and maintenance processes which directly impacts safety, efficiencies, and material and labor cost
+ Complete root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to improve efficiencies
+ Identify and implement cost savings initiatives that reduce plant expenses
+ Implement and share best practices with other food service facilities.
+ Contribute to a safe work environment by identifying and implementing safety improvements.

**DELIVERABLES:**
+ Process improvements are identified by analyzing the processes and applying analytical problem-solving skills
+ Safety and ergonomics improvements are identified through observations and interaction with plant personnel and issues are corrected using plant personnel and contractor labor
+ Cost saving targets are achieved by eliminating waste (time, energy, money) which reduces overall plant expense
+ Implement systems to improve equipment efficiencies using data to identify areas for improvement and implementing appropriate corrective actions
+ Support departments on as needed basis to develop training programs to keep the skills up to date as technology changes
**BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:**
+ Minimum 2 years experience working in a production related environment is required
+ At least 1 - 2 years experience of project engineering and/or process improvement preferred
**EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:**
+ B.S. in Engineering, preferred field of study of Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical
**SKILLS:**
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to proactively manage projects and keep stakeholders engaged and informed on progress

**Job Overview:**
The Plant Engineer is a critical role in connecting field operations with the maintenance organization, helping minimize downtime and failure rates and maximize equipment productivity. The Facilities Engineer enhances service quality and equipment reliability by improving workflows and optimizing maintenance processes using Lean Six Sigma practices and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodology. This position, a key link the site, provides input to improve equipment design, reliability, and maintainability.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Keep current with latest equipment, technologies, and maintenance methods.
+ Identify and captures opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
+ Support Maintenance and Operations Managers in planning for equipment and maintenance resources and correcting existing discrepancies utilizing TPM methodologies.
+ Oversee work, set or edit standards, policies and procedures for vendors and contractors
+ Manage financial aspects including annual budget development, capital planning and administration. -
+ Participate in technical audits and compliance assessments, and follows up on closure of remedial action plans
+ Assist with development and coaching of staff.
+ Ensures application of asset management and maintenance systems data and accurate, timely data entry and reporting.
