Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement cloud architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead migration of applications, data, and workloads to cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Ensure best practices for cloud security, governance, and compliance are applied.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and operations teams to enable CI/CD and automation pipelines.
• Optimize cloud performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in complex cloud environments.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to engineering teams on cloud practices and adoption.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or solution design.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud experience preferred).
• Proficiency in networking, storage, virtualization, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless technologies.
• Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
