The Opportunity
- Work with site leadership to address HR related initiatives to include retention agreements, employee separation issues, onboarding, hiring and terminations.
- Partner with cross functional team members such as but not limited to Contract Implementation Team (CIT), recruiting, total rewards, HRIS, Legal, Finance, Payroll and on-boarding to ensure proper set up of new practice lines and sites.
- Provide initial primary HR services to Site Leadership team including on-boarding, employee changes and inquiries, performance management, compensation, employee relation and separation activities leading up to contract go-live and 30 days after the go-live date.
- Act as liaison for Practice Administrator policies and data with Vituity Departments: Benefits, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition.
- Partner and collaborate with Total Rewards to address compensation-related matters during site startups and terminations.
- Partner with Compliance to assist and provide site leadership with guidance and research, review, update, publishing, and communicating employee handbook policies in accordance with employment law.
- Serve as a contact for employee changes such as I9's, promotions, job changes, pay changes, and personal updates. Communicate payroll and benefits information and updates to appropriate parties.
- Work with Vituity leaders on finalizing employee change details including analysis and recommendation with all site startups and terminations.
- Assist in maintenance of company website content and Sharepoint.
- Collaborate with internal corporate stakeholders to enhance delivery, quality, and standardization of all Human Resources processes.
- Draft and recommend policies for Employee Handbooks, FAQ sheets and site-specific procedures. Periodically audit Employee Handbook policies, procedures, and practices for compliance with federal and state laws.
- Draft, recommend, and audit policy updates for Partner Handbooks, FAQ sheets and site-specific procedures.
- Participate in assessment and development of soft-skills training such as presentations at local sites, Medical Director Meetings, Regional Meetings, Partnership meetings, and Leadership Academy programs. Topics may include labor law compliance, employee management and retention, compensation and benefits, provider wellness, etc.
- Maintain employee and Partner files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Files documents into appropriate employee and Partner files.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested by site leadership.
- Coordinates training sessions and seminars as needed to assist employees and partners.
- Update and facilitate HCM data integrity across all populations as needed for all site startups and terminations.
Required Experience and Competencies
- 1-2 years of Human Resources/Recruiting Coordinator Experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Human Resources Management or equivalent required.
- Experience in a healthcare industry preferred.
- Experience working in a multi-state organization preferred.
- Human Resources certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Working knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, compliance, and practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
