Renown Health and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are Nevada's first integrated academic health system and are currently hiring a full-time Rehab Hospitalist .

As the main teaching hospital, physicians foster the teaching of Residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Working with an established Research Department provides support to coordinate clinical trials.

The Rehab Hospitalist will be a dedicated Hospitalist at Renown Acute Rehabilitation Hospital and act as a Consultant, assisting in patient follow-up and observation, under dedicated inpatient Physiatrists. Physiatrists are the primary providers in the hospital. Patients are typically transferred from Renown Regional after treatment for stroke, brain aneurysms, TBI, spinal or hip fractures. The Hospitalist will report to the Director of Acute Rehab Hospital.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified IM Hospitalist who has completed an accredited 3-year Residency program.

Position Highlights

• Block schedule: 7 on / 7 off
