The Blackmer Pump Technician evaluates, modifies, repairs, and rebuilds Blackmer pump products.  This position will involve approximately 80% Shop and 10% field repair activities, and 10% administrative activities. 

What You’ll Do

• Inspects the components of pumps for serviceability. Then rebuilds the pump in the correct configuration according to the drawing.  
• Engage with customers and government inspectors by showing proper set-up and use of shop test equipment and how to work the equipment.

• Will show how to document test data and provide data to customers.    
• Performs shipping/receiving duties - including constructing shipping boxes, receiving parts, and conducting inventories.

• Operate and maintain an operating license for forklifts.
• Will operate and maintain all shop equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Properly store and dispose of waste/ HAZMAT, scrap metal, IAW local regulations and shop processes.
• Read Government contracts from NAVSUP, USCG.
• Understand drawing requirements for proper paint and primer use IAW customer specifications.
• Create shipping labels for GFM.
• Works overtime as required with advance approval from the manager
• Willing to travel at least 10%

What You’ll Bring

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years' experience in pump repair
• Military experience is highly preferred 
• Ability to be granted military base access
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

This position is part of the USCAN Repair Shop located in Marlborough, Massachusetts and will be an on-site position reporting to the USCAN Repair Shop Manager. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What will you do:

• Repairs and Preventative Maintenance in one or more modalities of equipment.

• The Engineer is aware of and follows all Field Modification Instructions and/or Instrument Service Information bulletins.

• Works with experienced Engineers, both in-house and occasionally remotely, as needed, to learn troubleshooting, repair and equipment installation techniques.

• Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.

• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building on and enhancing the relationship with the customer to ultimately become a perceived partner in their business.

Who you are:

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of servicing electronic/mechanical equipment; OR equivalent military experience (applicants with experience in repairing mechanical, electrical, or biomedical equipment); OR High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of experience servicing electronic/mechanical equipment.

• At least 1 year of experience with Web applications and proficient with Microsoft Suite

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• This position requires up to 20% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays

• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

• Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 35lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Administrative Assistant to support our Repair Center operations in Norcross, GA. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background who also possesses a technical aptitude, allowing them to understand and manage the specific needs of a repair environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the repair center, including managing schedules, coordinating appointments, and handling communications.
• Assist in processing work orders, tracking repairs, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions and repairs.
• Collaborate with technicians to understand technical requirements and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

**A Snapshot of Your Day**
As a Repair Center Manager, you will lead both shop and office personnel at the Service Center, ensuring the efficient repair of critical turbomachinery equipment. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing shop work and developing tasks for employees to meet both internal and external delivery deadlines. You will manage the shop's profit and loss, forecast financials, and report to Finance and upper management. Collaborating with Safety and Quality managers, you will monitor and maintain policies and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain the customer feedback database and initiate complaint/NCC resolution. You will identify and implement Lean strategies to enhance the quality of service, productivity, and profitability. Our customers include oil refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, universities, hospitals, and mechanical contractors.

**What You Bring**

+ Preferably, 5+ years of experience in managing operations.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
