The project is focused on developing a software platform to deploy our existing ultrasound-MRI models for prostate cancer detection in clinical practices. The position requires managing complex multi-modal data sets including clinical assessments, laboratory results, radiological images and pathological findings, to develop a user-friendly software that will encompass existing approaches and allows for easy integration of new models. The successful candidate will join the Department of Radiology at Stanford University and will work with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, statisticians, computer scientists, and trainees. This position is available immediately and has a 1-year duration, with possibility of extension based on funding availability and mutual agreement.
Duties include*:
- Design and develop specialized software and tools; coordinate detailed phases of work related to responsibility for part of a major project.

The project is focused on developing a software platform to deploy our existing ultrasound-MRI models for prostate cancer detection in clinical practices. We are seeking a candidate to join the our group ( within the Stanford PULSE Institute ( at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory as a research associate. Our research focuses on investigations of ultrafast photochemical dynamics in isolated molecules using state-of-the-art experimental methods, with the goal of understanding coupled electron-nuclear dynamics during photochemical processes in the excited states of organic molecules. This requires experiments with femtosecond time resolution and atomic spatial resolution. We are pushing this frontier using the unique facilities of SLAC, the x-ray free electron laser LCLS ( and the megaelectronvolt ultrafast electron diffraction facility ( . LCLS has recently completed a major upgrade to LCLS-II increasing its repetition rate to 1 MHz. Our group is deeply embedded in the highly collaborative and inspiring research environment of PULSE institute. Additionally, we are affiliated with the chemical sciences department at LCLS.
The candidate will investigate gas phase ultrafast molecular dynamics by time-resolved soft X-ray spectroscopy and diffraction experiments exploiting the transformative opportunities of LCLS-II.
**Note:** This is a 12-month fixed term position with the possibility of extension. Research Associates are engaged with the design, support, operation and/or scientific development of the major programs of the laboratory, under the guidance of their supervisor. **Summary**
**SUMMARY:** Under direction of the Manager of Grants & Special Projects, the Clinical Research Associate coordinates all aspects of clinical trials within the assigned unit.at the Adult Immunology Clinic, Highland Campus.
