Job Description
The Cell Therapy Research Associate will work on the Flow Cytometry and Immune Monitoring team to help provide support for research studies. This will be in an industry setting and on a 1st shift.
Responsibilities
+ Conducts experiments and analyzes data to support research and pre-clinical projects. This testing will largely include some combination of PCR, Flow cytometry, aseptic techniques, uv-vis, pipetting, sorters, ELISPOT, ELISA, dilutions, peptides, cell staining, and more.
+ Maintains laboratory equipment and ensures that it is in good working condition.
+ Prepares and maintains accurate records of experimental procedures and results.
+ Orders and maintains inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents. Facilitates repairs as needed.
+ Assists in the training of new laboratory personnel.
+ Participates in the creation of SOPs.
+ Complies with laboratory safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
+ Handle specimens of blood, urine, tissue, and fecal matter.
Qualifications:
+ Must have experience with flow cytometry, aseptic technique, and working in a BSL-2 laboratory or above. Would prefer experience with other laboratory techniques listed in the job description, but not necessarily required to have experience with all of them.
+ Must have a Bachelors Degree or a Masters Degree in a life science
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
