Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Psychologist to join our team supporting a U.S. Navy training program. This role will contribute to research designed to improve Warfighter training and performance at the individual, team, and multi-team level. This is a full-time position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
+ Conduct performance and human cognition research including planning, developing, and executing research in the fields of human factors, training, education, human performance, and cognition.
+ Identify gaps in Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) U.S. Navy training programs to ensure alignment with operational readiness standards.
+ Develop Human Performance tools designed to capture data from U.S. Navy aviation training that aid in analysis and debrief.
+ Conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that enable the development of Human Performance products.
+ Provide project management and coordination for efforts that include leading multi-disciplinary teams (to include tracking program milestones and progress, schedules, budgets, technical development).
+ Author research reports for professional publications and distribution.
+ Author programmatic reports for sponsors and other government organizations.
+ Conduct data analysis using SPSS.
+ Design surveys.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related technical field.
+ 3 years' related experience.
+ Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Psychology, Education, or related technical field.
+ Experience working with U.S. Navy aviation training simulations.
+ Must be able to present data to all levels of management.

**About the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center**
The successful candidate will join one of the strongest pediatric hematology/oncology programs in the country.
- Our oncology program cares for more than 500 new cancer cases per year. We represent the pediatric arm of Emory's NCI-designated Winship Cancer Center.
- We have the largest pediatric hematology program in the country (including 2000 active patients with sickle cell disease) and one of the four largest pediatric oncology programs in the country.
- Our blood and marrow transplantation program performs an average of 80 transplants annually.
- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta-the only tertiary pediatric center in the dynamic metropolitan Atlanta area-serves a population of nearly 6 million people, providing a strong basis for clinical programs in rare disorders.

Candidates would require a strong record of scholarship,. Successful candidates will have:
- PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program
- Currently licensed as a clinical psychologist and eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia
- A strong record of scholarship and will be expected to work in a collaborative fashion as well as become an independent investigator, conducting nationally recognized research in pediatric psychology and hematology/oncology.
Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishment. The focus of this position will be innovative research. Clinical effort is expected to be 0.2-0.25 FTE and may include some inpatient and outpatient practice.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Mental Health Technician provides resident care and supervision in accordance with the prescribed treatment program. This involves a focus on group leadership and resident interactions.
Qualifications
One year experience as a MHW, CNA or the equivalent is preferred. A college degree may be accepted in lieu of years of experience. Completion of the facility training programs for this classification is required. Necessary skills include knowledge of psychology or sociology, knowledge of the care of the mentally ill and the ability to interact with nursing personnel, other members of the health care team, families, clients and visitors. The incumbent must be proficient in reading, speaking and writing English. In sole judgment of management demonstrates ability to perform at a consistently high level as an MHW. Has demonstrated the ability to carry out the duties of a Mental Health Worker in a thorough and professional manner. Has also demonstrated previous leadership, interest and enthusiasm for the role of a Mental Health Worker. Applicant must be finger printed and receive clearance from Criminal Justice Department.

This person will be part of perioperative team to improve brain health during the perioperative period and beyond. We are particularly interested in postoperative cognitive dysfunction and postoperative delirium and starting a registry on them. Thus, you will work in preoperative clinic, and intraoperative and postoperative areas to conduct screening and comprehensive diagnostic psycho-educational evaluations and provide appropriate psychotherapy to patients and/or their family members that have been enrolled in a clinical trial or whose clinical situation requires such an evaluation or intervention based on published guideline.
Qualified candidates must be a licensed clinical psychologist and have experience in the evaluation of cognition and behavior including learning and memory. Interest in the perioperative setting will be necessary. Experience in research data management and platform establishment will be a plus.

The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (Athena) and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
