**The Pillars of Mankato** provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care apartments for seniors in a specially designed community. We incorporate the seven components of wellness (emotional, physical, intellectual, spiritual, social, environmental, and occupational) into our 118 units that make up The Pillars. Located near US 14 and 169's crossroads, our community has a bus that residents can ride for our outings.
The **Resident Assistant** is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.
This caregiver position includes;
+ 64 hours every two weeks ; full-time
+ Evening Shift ; Shift differential available
+ Every other weekend and holiday rotation
**Responsibilities:**
+ Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to:
+ Bathing/showering
+ Foot and fingernail care
+ Shaving
+ Dressing
+ Assistance with use of hearing aids and/or glasses
+ Hair care
+ Feeding
+ Toileting
+ Escorts
+ 1-2 person transfers and use of mechanical lift
+ Provides health-related services as directed: Assists with treatments per individualized care plan under the direction of the Registered Nurse. (includes blood glucose monitoring)
