We work from Malibu to Santa Barbara but most of our work is focused in Ventura County and Ojai where we prefabricate a lot of what we build.
We are looking for a candidate with deep knowledge of residential construction and estimating who wants to join a dynamic team, expand their skillset, and help us innovate on every level of construction.
The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, production-oriented individual with a passion for organization and client satisfaction. The ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively with clients, trade contractors and employees is a must. Delivering budgets on time is paramount to this position. Working closely with the design and construction teams, the Estimator/Salesperson will perform the following tasks:
- Assemble scopes of work, develop estimates and proposals
- Collaborate with clients, company principals and department leads
- Assist in procuring materials, vendors and subcontractors as necessary for each project. Identify gaps in decision making and bring solutions/recommendations to the deciding parties.
- Create project schedules
- Provide technical input as needed
- Seek opportunities to improve our projects through alternative products and vendor sources
- Ensure client satisfaction and maintain quality relationships with project partners
- 1-3 years of construction management experience and estimating
- 2 or four year degree in construction management preferred
