You'll provide 24-hour support-assisting with grooming, meals, appointments, and daily routines-while creating a clean, caring, and stable environment. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about hands-on care and helping others thrive.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, healthy living environment for the residents general living area, and to assist with residents as appropriate in maintaining a clean bedroom area, to include the proper storage of their personal items.
- Provide oversight, prompting or hand on care as appropriate with personal task such as laundering clothes.
- Provide training and assistance in the monitoring of health, nutrition and physical condition.
- Continuously implement all program goals relating to the individual's plan of care.
- Report observations to management and/or clinical staff.
- Coordinate transportation for community events and for those who are not able to navigate the public transportation system.
- Monitor and document consumers behavior for issues that might lead to a medical and/or psychiatric crisis or emergency.
- Monitors the consumers health and safety daily
- Must be eighteen years or older.
- Have a high school diploma or general equivalency development (GED) certificate.
- Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and thereafter obtain CPR certification annually.
- Current Food Handlers certificate.
- Complete orientation and required regulatory training.
- Meet the minimum training and qualifications of a personal care aide, as set forth in Section 938 of Chapter 9 of Title 29 DCMR.
- Exhibit professional appearance with consumers.
