Job Functions :

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Help us succeed as our next Retail Associate to maintain accurate records and documentation, provide excellent service to customers and team members, and manage daily responsibilities with a focus on quality and efficiency. Other duties include coordinate tasks to ensure deadlines are met, gain knowledge of company offerings to better serve clients, support the preparation and delivery of goods or services, assist with organizing, stocking, and general upkeep, adapt to shifting priorities and business needs, along with assist with processing returns and exchanges, respond promptly to inquiries and resolve basic issues, work collaboratively across teams and departments, follow safety procedures and company policies. The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $4.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

• Support inventory accuracy through accurate completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices
• Support the training process for new hires on the service team, including teaching process best practices, proper point of sale procedures, using available tools and resources while meeting Kohl's brand standards
• Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies)
