**The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks/projects that address the needs of the Marketing Strategy team and to facilitate a learning opportunity for the intern.**
**Job Functions:**
+ Marketing strategy: Contribute to strategic planning sessions and assist in competitive research and brand positioning efforts.
+ Campaign and creative development: Assist in maintaining a campaign calendar while developing and monitoring paid media campaigns that align with business objectives.

**What will you do?**
A day in the life of an **Associate, Retail Marketing** at Vans looks a little like this.
As Vans' Associate, Retail Marketing for North America, you will play a critical role in evolving our consumer experience across our retail locations and formats. Reporting into the head of Retail Marketing, you will be part of a high performing, cross-functional team with key stakeholders in brand management, retail operations, and merchandising.

+ **Execute Retail Marketing Strategy:** Assist in the implementation of the retail marketing strategy. Support the execution of global seasonal directives and localized retail experiences. Help gather and organize data to track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
+ **Manage Retail Marketing Operations:** Provide administrative and logistical support for retail marketing plans and tools. Assist in coordinating in store activations, store openings, refits, and traffic-driving initiatives. Assist in creation of Event and Campaign recaps, execution of Mall Marketing campaigns throughout our retail fleet, and management of communication with Mall Marketing Property groups. Track and report on specific budget items as directed by the Manager.
+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration and Team Support:** Support cross-functional collaboration by coordinating meetings and communications between teams. Assist in the preparation of materials for marketing campaigns and plans. Provide general support to the retail marketing team, helping to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
+ **Manage Retail Marketing Creative Requests & Execution:** Brief in via Wrike all Retail Marketing creative needs including but not limited to: Windows & POP, Store Environment including both images and digital contents, Sale, Seasonal Graphics, lease required advertising and local marketing needs. Maintain line of site on the production process with particular focus on timings, Concept versioning, and costs to ensure all marketing collateral delivers on time, in the right formats, and in budget.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

+ Solution-oriented mindset and strong capabilities in fast problem solving.

**JOB SUMMARY**
The Senior Director, Retail Marketing, will lead marketing strategy and execution for Marriott Bonvoy Boutiques, Marriott's retail business with products marketed under Marriott's hotel brands and the Marriott Bonvoy brand, notably products like the Westin Heavenly Bed, Ritz-Carlton hotel sheets, and EDITION fragrance.
This person will be responsible for overseeing marketing for multi-channel online retail, working closely with other leaders aligned to this department; other Analytics, Brand, Marketing, and PR teams within Marriott; and external business partners and agencies.
