**Required Qualifications:**
1. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

3. 1-3 years related work experience required in Healthcare or Retail Pharmacy.

**Education**

**Job Duties**
+ Ensures customer service and teamwork while conducting responsibilities
+ Fills medication orders, charges/credits all medication, stocks, delivers, and inspects assigned areas.
+ Prepares IV admixtures and other extemporaneous compounds and enters TPN orders into the computer system.
+ Maintains competency in professional growth and responsibilities
+ Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
+ Other related duties as required.

This job prepares medication and delivers to assigned areas under the supervision of a pharmacist, interacts directly with the nursing staff to assure their medication related needs are met in a timely and accurate fashion, maintains documentation as required by law, and actively participate in medication audits to assure accurate charging of medications in the assigned areas

- Accurately fills all pharmacy orders and automated dispensing machines, maintaining proper chain of custody and paperwork for controlled substances.
- Accurately and efficiently loads and unloads medications to automated dispensing machines.
- Maintains competency by completing assigned, mandatory in-services and all mailbox in-services.
- Performs required audits, unit inspections and QA procedures.
- Adapts behavior to the specific patient population, including but not limited to: respect for privacy, method of introduction to the patient, adapting explanation of services or procedures to be performed, requesting permissions and communication style.
**Physical and Environmental Demands:**
The physical essential functions of this job include (but are not limited to) the following: Frequently exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force to move objects; occasionally exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
