Job overview and responsibilities
Lead projects and initiatives to identify pricing and revenue management opportunities for an assigned region. Act as an advocate for the markets and conduct various moderate to complex analyses that help in maximizing revenue for the network.
- Lead moderate to complex projects with a focus on identifying future opportunities for revenue generation via evaluation of revenue management, strategies, systems and conduct analysis that helps in detecting trends
- Assist to drive strategic direction into actionable activities by monitoring a group of analyst to ensure desired results are achieved
- Lead efforts to regularly update forecasts, identify revenue risks and opportunities and present findings to senior leadership in various forums
- Assist in cross functional department projects that require analysis and use of Revenue Management/Pricing data to help build understanding of the revenue impact of different strategies
- Monitor and provide guidance to Revenue Management analysts in execution of initiatives and techniques to achieve optimal revenue performance in assigned region Provide assistance in training, effective coaching and mentoring of new analysts, along with helping on recurrent training of existing analysts

- Clearly communicate with pricing Managers and Directors regarding promotional concerns and/or discrepancies.
- Build and maintain pricing & promotion action plans.
- Work to improve efficiencies in the Revenue Management action plan process.
- Assist with occasional analysis or promotion/pricing related projects.

Requirements
- 2+ years related revenue management experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with revenue management concepts and/or prior revenue management experience, in the travel industry a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of database and report writing tools
- Knowledge of the cruise industry business environment including marketing, sales and operations a plus
- Strong analytical, communication & organizational skills essential

This is achieved through audits, analyzing, managing, and maintaining rates and rate codes in RMS, CRS, Lanyon, Property PMS, and connected channels.
Responsibilities- Conduct regular meetings (monthly, bi-weekly, weekly) with clients to review performance, opportunities, audits, and promotions.
- Audit property setups to ensure content accuracy and proper distribution through systems.
- Assist in rate and inventory adjustments, ensuring compliance with brand standards and policies.
- Support complex properties in revenue management processes.
- Guide rate loading, RFPs, and promotions, ensuring standards are met, and implement performance improvement plans.
- Establish and maintain reports to understand each hotels market, goals, and challenges, ensuring inventory and rate visibility across channels.
- Decision-making is generally routine with some level of authority in specific cases.
- Work involves standard tasks and procedures, with problem-solving involving standard options.
- Participation in projects that may introduce new methods impacting hotel performance.
- Regular interaction with property contacts and internal departments.
The role impacts revenue by ensuring adherence to standards and policies, increasing market share, revenues, customer loyalty, and brand awareness, while minimizing opportunity costs.
- Clear communication skills, quick decision-making, stress management, multitasking, initiative, data analysis, presentation skills, interpersonal skills, financial understanding, and proficiency with MS Office and other systems are essential.
- Bachelors Degree in Hospitality, Business, Finance, Economics, or at least two years of analytical experience in Revenue Management or Reservations.
- Hospitality experience in EMEA markets.
- Knowledge of office procedures and MS Office, familiarity with PMS, CRS, RMS, online channels, BI tools, and reporting.
- Fluency in English.

- Build, input, and adjust annual pricing structures based on Brand standards, Target Gross Profit, DA Support, contribution, FOB and channel deals agreed upon with management (Pricing Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Manager, and/or Local or Regional supplier or customers).
- Analyze and report on the business based on channel pricing. Make pricing strategy recommendations to help increase overall volume and Gross profit while considering import/domestic brands, cost variances, and align with target GP.
- Analyze GP and identify and correct any issues with price increase, missing DAs and/or input errors. Analyze key driver data for unpublished deals and make recommendations on ways to improve deal structures to reduce the overall number of overall deals.
- Attend regular customer and/or supplier meeting with management (Pricing Manager, Key Account Manager, and/or Business Manager) to review, identify, and negotiate Gross Profit issues and revenue gaps.
- Review short pay reconciliation from finance. Approve or reject the amount per case that customers are short paying on invoice. Provide price that was available for customers based on their trade channel and time of invoice.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholders supervisor, may also be required.
- Bachelors degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Finance or Marketing
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software

Provide Support and Recommendations to the Local Market
+ Supports annual financial budgeting process in coordination with Trade Development and Financial Planning teams.
+ Assist with the local market trade spending activities, budgeting, and the inventory aging processes.
+ Develop business review content to analyze pricing and GP performance, develop business case, and presents to high level managers/business managers monthly.
Pricing, Analyzing and Reporting
+ Completes complex reports driven from SAP to make key decisions regarding supplier deals.
+ Analyze and maintain NPS pricing and accounts to ensure correct pricing is in place and appropriate GP goals are being met.
+ Gather feedback from retailers, restaurateurs, field sales to help improve recommendations on pricing improvements.
+ Analyze key driver data for overrides and makes recommendations on ways to improve deal structures to reduce the overall number of overrides.
+ Supports daily sales order processing as needed, secondary system oversight and guide the market's pricing practices ensuring pricing is accurate and aligned with compliance policies.
+ Provide analytical support as needed to internal and external groups.
Supplier Support
+ Prepares materials for supplier planning meetings by reviewing internal sales and financial data, spend data and trends.
+ Attend supplier meetings provides financial analysis and supply relevant data to support deal decisions in supplier meetings.
+ Meets with suppliers at least once per month to gain market knowledge.
+ Negotiate deal structures in conjunction with the Business Manager and Supplier representatives that support our GP% targets.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent training and work experience
+ Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience in sales, finance and/or marketing

+ Understanding of technology tools that enable revenue management planning and reporting (Financial reporting, SAP, Power BI)
