**Overview**
We're looking for a highly strategic and analytical leader to join GitHub as a Principal, Revenue Strategy & Planning. This role is the strategic nerve center for the entire Revenue organization, responsible for architecting the blueprint for our short and long-term growth. As a senior individual contributor, you will be a critical thought partner to our senior revenue leaders, tackling our most complex business challenges and charting the course for our future success.
This is not a role about maintaining the status quo. You'll be tasked with looking around corners, identifying new growth levers, and developing the forward-looking strategies that will define GitHub's go-to-market motions for years to come. You will lead the annual planning cycle, ensuring a seamless and integrated strategy that connects our financial targets with our Workforce Planning, Compensation design, and Sales Operations execution.
**Responsibilities**
+ **Long-Range & Annual Planning:** Lead the end-to-end annual GTM planning process for the Revenue organization, ensuring strategic alignment from top-level targets down to final territory deployment.
+ **Strategic Initiatives:** Identify, evaluate, and lead high-priority strategic projects to drive business growth. This could include analyzing new market entries, evaluating customer segmentation, exploring new sales motions, or assessing competitive threats.
+ **Business Growth & Performance Analysis:** Develop frameworks to analyze business performance and connect results to the strategic plan. You will answer the "so what?" by providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on performance data.
+ **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Serve as the key strategic liaison between Revenue leadership and critical partner functions, including Workforce Planning, Compensation, Finance, Marketing, and Sales Operations. You will ensure that all GTM functions are operating in lockstep against a single, unified plan.
+ **Executive Communication:** Craft and deliver compelling, data-driven narratives and presentations for senior leadership to communicate our strategy, articulate our plans, and drive decision-making.
**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 12+ years experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 10+ years experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
+ OR Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years experience in marketing, strategy, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience

+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience working within a high-growth enterprise B2B SaaS company.
+ Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and driving revenue-focused go-to-market strategy, including long-term and operational planning cycles.
+ Experience with consumption-based business models.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Direct experience in a GTM Strategy or Sales Strategy role.
+ Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain).
+ Strong analytical skills, with experience using SQL to query large datasets and familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

**Compensation Range**
The base salary range for this job is USD $132,400.00 - USD $351,300.00 /Yr.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.

**Job Overview**
The primary objective of the Corporate Director of Revenue Management is to strategically oversee the Revenue Management discipline for a portfolio of hotels within Sage Hotel Management. The goal is to maximize revenues through all distribution channels, segments, sales and marketing efforts which will ultimately provide the best possible return on investment for our owners and equity partners.

**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Provide resources or direction necessary to maximize each hotel's top line revenue, profit and market share.
+ Provide guidance to the property revenue teams in the development and execution of a strategic (demand-based) pricing plan for all market segments. Ensure a strategic mix of business and pricing strategies are set for each property based on market conditions to drive revenue, profitability, and exceed both GOP and NOP budget.

The Business Development Associate contributes to the strategy formulation and execution, corporate development activities including acquisitions and disposal of businesses, and other complex projects and strategic initiatives to achieve profitable growth.
