GDIT is seeking Junior up to Senior level RF Engineers to help support our upcoming BIM contract. These levels include RF Engineer, RF Engineer Senior, and RF Engineer Advisor. These positions are remote, HOWEVER, will require extensive travel to various Air Force/Space Force Bases around the world.

HOW AN RF ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
RF Engineer provides the technical expertise to modernize wireless network design and implementation supporting multiple Air Force and Space Force bases globally. The RF Engineer will be the technical resources supporting the survey and implementation efforts. Works closely with the base's counterparts and facilitate the planning, execution, testing and sustainment of the wireless functionality of the network.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
**This position will perform the following duties:**
+ Execution - Coordinate with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to coordinate base access, clearance, escorts, personnel and equipment to ensure project tasks can be completed on time.
+ Stakeholder Communications - assist the PM with ensuring clear, consistent, timely and accurate communications are maintained with internal and external project stakeholders
+ Technical support - provide input into the network design and technical recommendations to the program and operation teams.
+ Leadership - Lead small implementation teams or manage specific work scopes for a given AF/SF base.
**Other tasks include:**
+ Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects
+ Develops technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting

The likely salary range for this position is $99,549 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. + BSEE (MSEE desired) and minimum of 3 years of RF design experience.

+ Knowledge or experience with simulating RF circuits for gain, NF, P1dBm, etc.
+ Experience in the use of RF test equipment like network and spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, mixed signal generators, power meters.
+ Able to design, and support fabrication and assembly of PCBs containing surface mount and through-hole components.
