We are seeking an Intermediate Level RF Engineer to design multi-stage low-noise high-gain RF pulse amplifier systems. This role demands expertise in modeling, simulating, implementing, and testing RF amplifiers, with a strong focus on innovation and quality.
Responsibilities
+ Design multi-stage low-noise high-gain RF pulse amplifier systems.
+ Model, simulate, implement, and test multi-stage low-noise RF amplifiers.

+ TEKsystems is looking for an RF Engineer for our client. This client is one of the "Big Four" carriers in the FCC who is consistently innovating, capacity planning, and deploying new technologies to maximize the range and level of service they provide to their customers.
+ With the continued initiatives across RBB and just overall amount of connected devices per capita, the need to improve bandwidth and capacity is constantly there.
+ In order to keep up with the high demand, they have to ensure they drive cohesion and consistency across all the various internal/external teams involved in the build lifecycle. With recent VSP (Retirement) packages going out and push for New Site Builds, they need support across multiple business units, but this focus is on the RF Team.
+ Design/Engineering is a main portion of any build lifecycle and can be associated to various technologies such as Transport, Equipment, Capacity, RF, etc. These needs fall under the RF (Radio Frequency) Engineering team and are specifically aligned to design (Not Systems Performance) The "RF Design" team works in cohesion with RF Performance Engineering Teams.
+ This resource will be dedicated to all of the WBV market and be aligned to 48 reviews along with some redesign work as well. Resource needs to have very solid experience within ATOLL and comparing designs to final CD's (Construction Drawings). They day to day can vary, but for the most part they will be receiving, comparing, and processing designs within ATOLL and the FUZE database.
Responsibilities:
+ Creating search areas within their geographic area of responsibility.
+ Working with the performance team to understand area and issues within his/her sector.
+ Working with System Performance counterparts to understand issues and help reduce Lost Calls and Ineffective Attempts within their sector.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced RF Wireless Engineer to join our team in Spokane Valley, Washington. This role involves managing and maintaining advanced radio frequency (RF) systems, ensuring their optimal performance, and executing installations and repairs with precision. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of RF protocols, system configurations, and networking technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct installations, maintenance, and repairs of electronic and radio equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of RF-related protocols, including P25 Phase I and II Trunking, Conventional, Analog, and other industry standards.
- Perform coverage modeling to assess and optimize system performance.
- Work with microwave systems to ensure their operational reliability and integration with broader networks.
- Manage and configure IP-based networks and protocols to support communication systems.
- Apply expertise in Motorola, Kenwood/EF Johnson, L3Harris, and Tait radios and systems.
- Collaborate with teams to implement and test network configurations, including Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
- Oversee configuration management processes to maintain system consistency and reliability.
- Support dispatching and backup technologies to enhance system functionality.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.

We are seeking a Mid-Level RF Engineer to support the development and deployment of advanced RF systems for defense applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the design, implementation, testing, and integration of RF subsystems, including antennas, radios, RF cable assemblies, and related hardware. A solid understanding of electrical and electronic systems is essential, and experience in systems engineering is a strong plus.
This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver rugged, mission-ready RF solutions for ground, air, and maritime defense platforms under demanding environmental and performance conditions.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Design and develop RF subsystems for defense platforms, including antennas, filters, amplifiers, and transceivers.
+ Perform RF system-level analysis, including link budgets, path loss, and interference assessments.
+ Conduct lab and field-testing using industry-standard RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, etc.).
+ Integrate RF systems with electrical and embedded systems across multiple platforms.
+ Support the installation and verification of RF hardware in operational environments (e.g., military vehicles, aircraft, and ships).
+ Collaborate with systems engineers to derive requirements and ensure system-level compatibility.
+ Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation, including test plans, interface control documents, and installation procedures.
+ Provide technical support during prototyping, production, and customer delivery.

**Job Qualifications:**
+ Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD.
+ May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
+ Must have a thorough understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory; experience demonstrating a broad application of those concepts; and, expanding knowledge of principles, concepts, theory, and practices in related technical specialties.
+ Must possess the ability to develop and communicate new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.
+ Must have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas; capable of representing the organization as a prime technical contact and, lead a team of moderately experienced professional employees on single component projects.
+ Able to work extended hours as required.
+ A Professional Engineering License and original work published in professional engineering journals are desirable.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
