Works closely with the base's counterparts and facilitate the planning, execution, testing and sustainment of the wireless functionality of the network.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
**This position will perform the following duties:**
+ Execution - Coordinate with Government Points of Contact (POCs) to coordinate base access, clearance, escorts, personnel and equipment to ensure project tasks can be completed on time.
+ Stakeholder Communications - assist the PM with ensuring clear, consistent, timely and accurate communications are maintained with internal and external project stakeholders
+ Technical support - provide input into the network design and technical recommendations to the program and operation teams.
+ Leadership - Lead small implementation teams or manage specific work scopes for a given AF/SF base.

The likely salary range for this position is $43,888 - $0. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Understanding of Digital Communications and Signal Processing.
- Experience in modeling, simulation, and/or analysis of RF Systems, including Space-to-Ground and Payload Systems.
- Experience performing Link Budget Analysis to design and optimize the communication link between the satellite and the ground station and/or Cascade Analysis to evaluate the overall performance of the payload and associated components.

- Ability to analyze and evaluate complex satellite test data, extensive experience working with spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and vector signal analyzers and their associated data.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink in modeling complex communication systems.
- Experience with Basis of Estimates, DOORS, STK, and/or HFSS.
