JOB SUMMARY:
Supervises the mechanical, controls, and animation maintenance activities in area of responsibility. Contributes to routine, capital, and expense budgeting and sets direction and priorities of all maintenance functions for the area of responsibility. Manages and leads technical staff to include continuous improvement, personal development, and administration in area of responsibility. Manages the preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities within area of responsibility. Facilitates the hiring, training, and scheduling of employees with respective work areas.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Supervises all ride maintenance with hands-on involvement. Ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is maintained in like new condition. + Supervises and leads training and development of all direct reports in assigned area. Administers development plans on a regular basis and as required. Manages schedules and personnel records for direct reports. Ensures safety compliance of assigned area of responsibility. Ensures compliance to all Universal Orlando policies and procedures. Ensures safety is the top priority of assigned area.
+ Ensures operational throughput requirements are supported on a daily basis. Executes a preventative and predictive maintenance plan which minimizes downtime. Maintains records of completed maintenance for all work completed. Coordinates work efforts with operational needs of the attractions, working directly with all affected departments to ensure the highest level of customer service.
+ Ensures all areas of responsibility are in compliance with ASTM F-24 guidelines as well as original manufacturer's requirements.
+ Focus on fiscal responsibility, ensuring budgets spending is controlled and reported properly. Assists in building mitigation plans for budget overages. Contributes to the building and managing of routine budgets for responsible area to include all expenses needed to achieve goals. Monitors overtime for responsible area, ensuring only used when absolutely necessary. Contributes to the building of capital and expense plans for responsible area as required.

EDUCATION:
+ Technical school is preferred.

Overview:
Under occasional supervision, plans, schedules and manages the electrical maintenance of Park rides. Coordinates projects with other park departments, contractors and ride manufacturers as required. Responsibilities:

+ Participates in the development of long-range plans related to ride electrical/mechanical maintenance projects.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree (4 year College or University) required.
+ 5 - 7 years related experience, specifically in Electrical Engineering and Electrical Maintenance/Controls preferred.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for attraction recovery, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Universal Kids Resort attractions, show and water play areas. Responsible for troubleshooting all ride and show mechanical aspects and systems of the attractions following OEM specifications and requirements. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Responds to and assists in the recovery and repair of attractions, show effects, and water play areas. Troubleshoots down to failed components using schematics, leak detection equipment, vibration analysis, and other specialized tools and equipment.
+ Performs preventative and predictive maintenance as prescribed by OEM or engineering team, both internal and third-party specifications. This would include changing time-limited parts, calibrating equipment per OEM specifications, filtration systems, and cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining equipment. Responsible for the disassembly and required repairs and replacements for mechanical components during annual inspections on ride vehicles. Verifies all quality control and NDT requirements have been met prior to assembly.
+ Completes inspections and creates necessary work orders for discrepancies found. Follows correct chain of command to notify Ride & Show Management when necessary.
+ Performs repairs to equipment due to safety, reliability, or show quality issues found during preventative maintenance, daily inspections or downtimes to improve ride reliability and show quality. Performs modifications per engineering team, both internal and third party or OEM specifications.

Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing all phases of mechanical maintenance throughout the plant, including preventative, corrective, and emergency repairs. The technician will work closely with both the mechanical and electrical maintenance operations teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who can work independently and take ownership of keeping our facility running smoothly. In this role, you'll apply your expertise in material handling equipment (MHE) and general facility maintenance to install, maintain, and repair critical equipment and infrastructure. While experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is not required, we are looking for someone who could eventually be trained in ammonia and take on that responsibility. + Ability to read and interpret **Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)** may be required at some facilities.

**Mechanical Maintenance Technician**
**Position Summary**
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the facility by performing the following duties. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.
**Principle Responsibilities**
+ Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment and performs routine, scheduled designated preventative maintenance.
+ Discusses machine operation variations with management or production workers to diagnose equipment problems.
+ Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
+ Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
+ Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
+ Monitor the progress of maintenance activities for effective compliance with maintenance plan.
+ Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.
+ Respond to inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.
+ Repairs hand tool equipment.
+ Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
+ Develops and conducts interior painting on an annual schedule.
+ Conducts minor plumbing work as required.
+ Conducts minor building repairs as required.
+ Cleans, organizes and assist in all custodial work as needed.
+ Conducts inspections of facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed.
+ Cleans and maintains buildings and facilities.
+ Performs maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering.
+ Repairs and maintains physical interior structure of establishment.
+ Manages and control spare part and facility maintenance inventory.
+ Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.
**Qualification Requirements**
**Credentials/Experience:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ 2 to 4 years of experience
+ Forklift operator's license is required;
+ Driver's License is required;
+ Journeyman's card is desirable.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Knowledge of CNC machine operation PMs.
+ Use and knowledge of inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers
+ Knowledge and use of test equipment such as multi-meters.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
+ Knowledge of HVAC.
+ Understanding of manufacturing equipment.
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and excellent data entry skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
