Compensation Range: $65,000 to $75,000/year

What You’ll Do: 

  • Oversee and manage budgeting and financial forecasting across various business lines
  • Responsible for preparing and communicating monthly financial results, analyzing budget/forecast variances, and identifying potential risks and opportunities
  • Provide support in the gathering and preparing of financial data for the company's quarterly external reporting
  • Leverage diverse data sources and analytical techniques to provide actionable insights that inform and influence financial decisions
  • Consistently review existing processes to identify improvements or efficiencies.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses for the CEO, CFO, and other members of the Leadership Team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
    • Equivalent work experience will be considered

BGSF has teamed up with a large medical center who is in search of a Financial Analyst on a long-term contract basis. Please note that this will be a long-term contract and operate on a hybrid schedule. Please note, candidates must already be local to the Norwalk, OH area, we cannot consider anyone for relocation.


Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, profit & loss assessments, and cost accounting evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports that summarize findings and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VBA for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Daily maintenance of budgeting, reporting and cost accounting.
  • Work with reconciliations of the GL and payroll.
  • Perform quantitative research to assess market trends, investment opportunities, and financial performance metrics.
  • Support corporate finance activities including investment banking processes, governmental accounting, and ERP systems management.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations while maintaining accurate records in Hyperion or similar platforms.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Must have 1+ year of financial analysis experience
  • Must be local to the Norwalk, OH area and comfortable working in a hybrid setting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
