**Job Summary**
Risk Management is an integral component of the healthcare organization's efforts to ensure that patients receive safe and quality healthcare. The Risk Officer is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks to the organization, its staff, patients, and visitors. They develop and implement strategies to minimize liability, improve patient safety, and ensure compliance with regulations. This involves analyzing data, investigating incidents, and educating staff on risk management practices.
**Responsibilities And Scope**
· Collaborates with appropriate leadership to develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures to ensure that team members prioritize patient safety and ensure zero harm. Assists in the promotion, organizational understanding, and implementation of a Just Culture.
· Conducts Organization Wide Risk Assessment and develops risk reduction strategies arising from the identification of system weaknesses and vulnerabilities.
· Coordinates and oversees the development of a comprehensive patient safety/risk management plan to reduce medical errors, healthcare incidents, and organizational liability.
· Identifies areas of opportunity arising from the safety event reporting process and lead implementation of Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
· Maintain insurance coverage for organization including Professional liability, General liability, Property, Auto, Management liability, Cyber, Aviation, Pollution, and workers Compensation policies. Coordinates actions arising from claims.
· Drive efforts on worker safety program and the prevention and mitigation of worker's compensation injuries/claims in collaboration with clinical stakeholders
· Respond to incident reports and patient complaints/grievances of a more serious nature that require a higher level of investigation and response.
· Facilitate disclosure of unanticipated outcomes and potential medical errors to patients and families.
· Assist in the coordination of CMS complaint surveys/responses and addresses patient safety/quality complaints from other regulatory bodies.
· Responsible for coordinating with legal counsel and insurance companies regarding liability claims (i.e. documents, depositions, etc.).
· Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections.
**Qualifications**
Required
· Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or a related field (e.g. nursing, health administration).
· Ten (10) years of experience working as a registered nurse in a healthcare system.
· Five (5) years of experience working in healthcare risk management, patient safety, or related field.
· Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) as issued by the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management (ASHRM) or successful certification within 12 months of employment.
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of healthcare regulations, risk management principles, and patient safety practices.
Preferred
· Master's degree in healthcare management or a related field (e.g. nursing, health administration)
· Three (3) years of experience working in Quality Improvement.
· Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) as issued by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
· Training or certification from National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF).

**Description**
Global Country Risk Management (GCRM) is responsible for managing country risk for Citigroup. This responsibility includes the approval of country limits, assignment of country ratings, Watchlist classifications, participation in annual country reviews and taking risk mitigating actions to protect Citigroup against losses generated by country events.
The overall objective of this position is to oversee the country risk management frameworks, tools and policies. This includes responsibility for the country risk stress testing program, country risk concentration, Country Risk Management Policy and associated Procedures, and country limit management. The latter includes both the country risk limit framework (including limit calibration, reporting and escalation) as well as responsibility for the review, challenge and approval of individual country limits, including for individual complex transactions.
The Risk Management Country Senior Group Manager manages multiple teams. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.
**Responsibilities**
+ Oversees the development and implementation of country risk frameworks, tools and policies.
+ Establishes the framework for setting country notional, crossborder, and stress loss limits.
+ Reviews, challenges, and approves individual country notional, crossborder, and stress loss limits, as part of annual reviews and also in response to individual (typically large and complex) transactions.
+ Addresses and remediates any country risk limits breaches, in collaboration with the 1LOD.
+ Manages the country stress testing program, including assessing the impact of risk on portfolio value and capital and advising the business accordingly.
+ Acts as 2LOD risk lead for country concentration management.
+ Manages the Global Country Risk Management Policy and associated Procedures and Standards.
+ Oversee the controls for GCRM, including oversight of the MCA process.
+ Serves as the primary point of escalation for key issues or time-sensitive decisions.
+ Leads in building partnerships across functions and regions and sustains a network of client relationships.
+ Serves as a single point of contact for franchise-level risk matters relating to the businesses operating in the country, and for providing risk management partnership to Citi Country Officers (CCOs) and Risk Management Country Officers (RMCOs) and cluster business and risk heads.
+ Mentors and coaches team members and contributes to their development as a role model.
+ Represents Citi on critical regulatory matters as required and directs the implementation of related remediation.
+ Ensures strict adherence to all relevant Citi policies and regulatory requirements.

The **Director, Credit Risk Management** - Senior Vice President is responsible for risk analysis and independent oversight of credit quality of assigned portfolios. The minimum salary for the VAS Quality & Risk Management Director position is $140,000.00 annually and the maximum salary for the VAS Quality & Risk Management position is $160,000.00 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
