Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Patient Care Unit . This role is responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and individualized patient care based on established nursing procedures and best practices.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, vital signs, and progress.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergencies.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in CO.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered.
- 1+ years of acute care or hospital-based nursing experience preferred (new graduates may be considered).
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
