This is an exciting opportunity to provide vital psychiatric consultation services within a community hospital environment.
**Position Overview:**
The Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment recommendations to patients within the medical and surgical units of Bayshore Medical Center. The psychiatrist will also evaluate patients who enter through emergency psychiatric services. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the optimal care of patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct psychiatric consultations for patients on medical and surgical units.
+ Evaluate patients who enter the emergency department for psychiatric services.
+ Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of psychiatric disorders in the context of medical illness.
+ Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, and crisis intervention.
+ Provide education and support to patients, families, and medical staff regarding psychiatric illness and treatment.
+ Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of integrated care pathways.
+ Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
+ MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
+ Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
+ Valid New Jersey medical license.
+ Experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry preferred.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This physician would join Atlantic Medical Group Oncology, a large multispecialty group with over 30 medical oncologists, and more than 60 cancer surgical specialists practicing throughout Atlantic Health System.
This role is ideal for an experienced, ambitious and skilled radiation oncologist to join a well-established practice at a premier institution, consistently ranked as one of the best healthcare facilities in the country. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing complete, comprehensive clinical care for all patients and have experience in advanced radiation techniques such as SBRT and SRS. The candidate should also have research interests and experience that can integrate into, and be nurtured by, the novel cancer research program at Atlantic Health System, through both its NCI-sponsored NCORP community oncology research grant (one of only 32 sites in the country) and its leadership in the Breakthrough Oncology Network, in partnership with the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and other premier oncology programs.

Generates high-quality images of patients in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment. Prepares and maintains records and files as directed.

1. Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.

Job Description
Performs imaging utilizing the appropriate equipment for diagnosis and treatment planning with regards to patient care. The incumbent demonstrates competency in skills necessary to care for patients served. Performs multiple types of imaging, including fluoro and X-ray, involving emergency room patients, surgical patients, inpatients and outpatients.
- Utilizes AIDET when communicating with patients to identify patient service requirements, ensure correct exam is performed on the correct patient, and establish rapport with patients and others.
- Instructs/communicates with patient and/or patients family regarding the test to be performed and assesses patients ability to tolerate exam.
- Prepares patient or area for IR procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques.
- Works with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
- Maintains medical imaging records in appropriate system and according to department policies and standards for interpretation in a timely manner.
- Assists leadership in maintaining all required policies, procedures, standards, and records for applicable governmental, regulatory, and accrediting organizations by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations of the OSHA, TJC, TDH and ACR.

Qualifications:
- Valid NJ State Licensure Radiographic Technologist (R.T.)
- American Registry of Radiographic Technologist ARRT credential.
- Valid basic life support (BLS) American Heart Association
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an Imaging Services Technologist preferred.

- Must be able to effectively work in a high -volume team environment.
- Ability to learn new tasks quickly and have excellent problem -solving skills

Responsible for X-raying patient using radiologic equipment that produces radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologist. Generates high-quality images of patients in order to assist with diagnosis and treatment. Prepares and maintains records and files as directed
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Performs and provides appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines.
2. Demonstrates knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care and sanitization of all equipment.
3. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns.
4. Maintains all equipment for procedures, assesses safety, physical, and physiological comfort of patient.
5. Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required:
1. Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School.
2. NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license.
3. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
4. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
