**Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist**
**Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, NJ**
Hackensack Meridian _Health_ , Bayshore Medical Center, is seeking a compassionate and experienced full-time Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist to join our collaborative team at Bayshore Medical Center in beautiful Holmdel, New Jersey. This is an exciting opportunity to provide vital psychiatric consultation services within a community hospital environment.
**Position Overview:**
The Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment recommendations to patients within the medical and surgical units of Bayshore Medical Center. The psychiatrist will also evaluate patients who enter through emergency psychiatric services. They will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the optimal care of patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct psychiatric consultations for patients on medical and surgical units.
+ Evaluate patients who enter the emergency department for psychiatric services.
+ Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of psychiatric disorders in the context of medical illness.
+ Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, psychotherapy recommendations, and crisis intervention.
+ Provide education and support to patients, families, and medical staff regarding psychiatric illness and treatment.
+ Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of integrated care pathways.
+ Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
+ MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
+ Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry.
+ Valid New Jersey medical license.
+ Experience in consultation-liaison psychiatry preferred.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Pharmacy Supervisor organizes and manages daily Pharmacy Department operations to ensure efficient, safe and timely accomplishment of established patient-focused duties and expectations. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
1. BS in Pharmacy.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in Hospital Pharmacy

1. PharmD preferred.
2. Experience with managing people and processes
3. In depth understanding of USP 797 and USP 800

The Pharmacy Technician functions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, and assists the pharmacist(s) with the completion of their responsibilities.
