What You Will Need

· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent required

· Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred

· Associates degree preferred

· 2 years of clicinal experience in hospital radiology preferred

· ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and one additional modality upon hire required OR

· ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers with 2 certifications upon hire required AND

· RVT or VT(RVS) as one modality if performing vascular sonography upon hire required AND

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required

What You Will Do

· Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to and during exam.

· Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.

· Adjust ultrasound parameters appropriately for age related factors

· Assist Radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic techniqu

· Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, and suggest differential diagnosis

· Utilize proper downtown procedures for PACS, Ambra and HIS/RIS

· Work in tandem with staff to ensure laser images are placed of CD from modalityor, PACSare printed or Ambra as needed

The Plumber performs routine maintenance on all plumbing equipment in the Hospital complex. The plumber also fits valves, couplings and other specified parts and fittings to pipe sections by screwing, bolting or soldering. Attaches pipe assemblies to walls or ceilings with brackets or hangers. Installs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, showers, medical gas equipment, oxygen and suction systems etc., and connects them to outlet and inlet pipes. Repairs plumbing fixtures, including worn washers, valves, etc. Solders and caulks leaks and broken pipes. Constructs minor metal work, such as strainers, shelves and chart locks. Silver-solders and keeps all kitchen equipment in working orders. May be required to perform Tinsmith work as necessary. Performs routine preventive maintenance on all plumbing equipment. Maintains Mechanical Rooms. Cooperates with team members to resolve maintenance problems within shop or area in an efficient and timely manner.

The shifts for the position are:

Sunday : 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Monday to Thursday - 4:00 pm to 12:00 am

This is a full time rotating shifts position, Sunday through Thursday, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Required Criteria
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Three to five years' experience in plumbing. Experienced in plumbing trade and basic working knowledge of all other trades
  • Must be available for weekends, evenings, nights, holidays, emergencies and scheduled work/outages
  • Must adhere to and follow shift coverage procedures
Preferred Criteria
  • Valid and current driver's license
  • New York City Certificate of Fitness for Compressed Gases must be obtained within first year
  • ASSE 6040 Medical Gas Systems Maintainer within 6 months of hire

Starting Hourly Rate - The starting hourly rate is $21.94 plus $.80 shift differential on the night shift. After qualifying in the role, the base pay rate increases to 22.61 per hour.
Work Schedule -
12-hour shifts
14-day rotation (2 weeks of day shift, followed by 2 weeks of night shift)
2-2-3 schedule
Week 1 (Day Shift 7am - 7pm): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on

**In this role, you will:**
The Production Worker is responsible for the processing, manufacture, packaging, storing and distribution of charcoal briquettes. The Production Worker may be assigned to work in any of these areas of the plant:
+ Retort - In the Retort department we convert wood waste to char that goes into the charcoal briquettes
+ Manufacturing - In the Manufacturing department we combine the char and other raw materials to create the charcoal briquette
+ Packaging - In the Packaging department we operate machines that package finished charcoal briquettes into bags
+ Warehouse - In the Warehouse we store finished bags of charcoal briquettes for shipments to customers or other warehouses
Essential Functions:
+ Press control buttons to activate machinery and equipment
+ Turn controls to adjust and regulate machine function as well as flow, speed, and temperature
+ Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment
+ Move materials, supplies, components, and finished products between storage and work areas
+ Pour, scoop, or dump specified ingredients into sections of machine prior to starting machines
+ Feed ingredients and products into machines by hand or conveyor and unload finished packaged product
+ Disassemble equipment to repair it or to replace parts
+ Monitor the production line, watching for problems such as pile-ups or jams or defects

Kingsford Manufacturing in Springfield, OR manufactures America's best-loved charcoal briquet for the West Coast, fulfilling our mission to provide sustainable and trusted grilling products that bring people together.
Our team is composed of individuals who possess advanced technical skills, are dedicated to process improvement and have a passion for our product and our plant.
Starting Hourly Rate - $23.61 per hour plus $1.25 per hour when working night shift.
Work Schedule (Briquetting/Process) -
12-hour shifts (6am - 6pm/6pm - 6am)
2-2-3 schedule
56-day rotation (8 weeks of day shift, followed by 8 weeks of night shift)

**In this role, you will:**
The Production Worker is responsible for the processing, manufacture, packaging, storage and distribution of charcoal briquettes.
Plant department overview:
+ Retort - In the Retort department we convert wood waste to char that goes into the charcoal briquettes
+ Briquetting - In the Briquetting department we combine the char and other raw materials to create the charcoal briquette
+ Packaging - In the Packaging department we operate machines that package finished charcoal briquettes into bags
+ Warehouse - In the Warehouse we store finished bags of charcoal briquettes for shipments to customers or other warehouses
The Production Worker principally works in briquetting (process) and duties may include:
+ Unloading bulk raw materials from rail cars
+ Movement of materials across the work site
+ Housekeeping and organization, both in the interior and exterior plant environment
+ Filling in for roles such as dryer tending, bulldozer, forklift driver, quality lab, packaging & shipping

+ Prepares raw materials and containers per instructions.
+ Loads raw materials into mixers and blends per mixing instructions.

**Quality Control Technician I - Lab-Based Role | $30/hr+ | Rotating Shifts**
We're hiring a **Quality Control Technician I** to join a dynamic team supporting production testing in a manufacturing lab environment. This role involves conducting quality control testing on raw materials and finished products, interpreting data, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory guidelines. You'll play a key role in daily lab operations, equipment maintenance, and upholding a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
**Schedule:** Wednesday-Sunday
**Rotating Shifts:** 6:00 AM-4:00 PM, 2:00 PM-12:00 AM, and 8:00 PM-6:00 AM
**Shift Flexibility Required** - Must be open to working all three shifts on a rotating basis
**Pay Rate:** $30/hour (flexible depending on experience)
**What You'll Do:**
+ Perform routine lab testing using written methods for raw materials and production batches
+ Analyze and document results, flagging any deviations or out-of-spec findings
+ Manage lab samples and inventory levels
+ Support equipment calibration and report maintenance needs
+ Follow strict safety protocols and support compliance efforts
+ Assist with general lab upkeep and participate in additional projects as needed
**What We're Looking For:**
+ BS in Chemistry, or Biochemistry or other life science degree
+ 2 year minimum of lab or quality control experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
+ Comfortable with lab equipment, documentation standards, and safety protocols
+ Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and solid communication skills
+ Able to lift up to 30 lbs., work on your feet, and wear standard PPE
