Base Pay: $16 per hour plus $1.25 per hour shift differential
Rotational Shift Schedule 4/3/3/4: Day Shift Hours (6 AM - 6 PM) and Night Shift Hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
Duties And Responsibilities
To provide support to SimEx Rigid Operators in every aspect including: Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Housekeeping. The primary goal of this position is for the individual to move into a Rigid Operator Trainee role once they have developed an understanding and have shown progression in every aspect listed below.
- Ensure safety is your #1 priority while on the premises and follow all safety rules, guidelines, and procedures while performing all job tasks
- Perform "End of the Line" Quality Key Customer Checks including: Cut Length, Surface, and Finseal (if applicable)
- Stack and pack vinyl lineals according to SimEx rack drawings and operator paperwork found in the Profile Manuals
- Assist operators with extrusion line setups, shutdowns, and changeovers when needed
- Adhere to all SimEx Housekeeping standards on a daily basis
- Be a contributing member of your perspective crew and show an interest in learning and progressing so that you are prepared to become our next Rigid Operator
- Assist other SimEx departments when needed
- Any other task assigned by your Supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32"
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Able to convert fractions to decimals
- Ability to read and interpret common statistical data, productivity reports, and written instructions
- Capable of using computerized equipment
- Will require standing, walking and working on concrete surfaces for long periods of time
- Ability to move carts in and out of production areas
- 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

+ Verifies insurance information through payor contacts via telephone, online resources, or electronic verification system. Identifies payor authorization/referral requirements. Provides appropriate documentation and follow up to physician offices, case management department, and payors regarding authorization/referral deficiencies. (20%)
+ Identifies all patient financial responsibilities, calculates estimates, collects liabilities and post payment transactions as appropriate in the ADT system and performs daily reconciliation. Identifies self-pay and complex liability calculations and escalates account to Financial Counselors as appropriate. (20%)
+ Delivers positive patient experience. Cooperates with and maintains excellent working relationships with patients, AHN leadership and staff, physician offices and designated external agencies or vendors. Performs any written or verbal communication necessary to exchange information with designated contacts and promote working relationships. (10%)
+ Maintains focus on attaining productivity standards, recommending innovative approaches for enhancing performance and productivity when appropriate. (10%)
+ Adheres to AHN organizational policies and procedures for relevant location and job scope. Completes and/or attends mandatory training and education sessions within approved organizational guidelines and timeframes. (10%)
+ Performs other duties as assigned or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
+ High school diploma or GED; or one - three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ One previous year of related experience, preferably within a medical setting, financial servicessetting, and/or a demanding customer service environment
+ Experience operating a PC and using software applications
Preferred
+ Medical terminology and obtaining insurance verifications
+ Call/Service Center experience

Rotational Day Shift, Week 1 - Sunday, Wednesday - Thursday, 8:00am - 8:00pm
Week 2 - Monday - Tuesday and Friday - Saturday, 8:00am - 8:00pm

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials
- Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy
- Load and unload trailers as needed
- Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times
- Display a commitment to process excellence
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy
- Perform inbound receiving processes
At a minimum, you'll need:
- To be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of warehouse experience
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
- Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull
- Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time
- Handle or manage tools or equipment
- Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
