Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Route Planner.
**Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm**
**Responsibilities**
As a Route Planner, you will:
+ Work efficiently and effectively to plan daily truckload shipments from the Ferguson distribution centers to branches and customers
+ Continuously offering opportunities for process and cost improvement
+ Work within various software applications to consolidate truckload shipments from the distribution center to branches and customers
+ Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs through freight consolidation, back-haul or DSD schedule changes
+ Communicate transportation delays that result from system challenges, weather obstacles, etc to customers and the DC's
+ Support the Supply Chain Disaster Plan as documented in the event of a weather emergency that disrupts the transportation of goods
+ Review and evaluate operational procedures and update as appropriate in collaboration with management
**Qualifications**
+ 1 - 4 years of Route planning/Delivery driving experience
+ Goal oriented, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines, build relationships and enjoy a team atmosphere
+ Exemplary phone, interpersonal and written communication skills
+ Must be able to multitask using various media
+ Must be capable of creative problem solving
+ Work comfortably and effectively in a dynamic operational environment
+ Impeccable attention to detail

The **Central Route Planner** organizes and coordinates weekly routing for multiple locations, ensuring customer commitments are met while maximizing efficiency across drivers, trucks, and territories.

**Route Planner Flex Specialist- Frisco, TX**
**Overview**
Routing Specialists are responsible for creating expert level delivery routing solutions for assigned Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) distribution. Flex Specialists must be highly proficient in all routing delivery methods (GEO, Bulk, Bay, & FSV), and highly versed in all systems (Descartes Route Planner, BlackBox, Route Manager). The responsibilities include vacation, leave, and time-off coverage for Route Planners, providing training support as needed. While covering schedules, the Flex Specialists accountabilities include flawless execution of the delivery routing process while ensuring that cost and productivity objectives are achieved.
Flex Specialists use analytics to identify productivity opportunities for Route Planners as well as the Routing Organization more broadly. They also must influence field partners to execute changes that improve delivery operations. Flex Specialists communicate proactively, positively, and concisely with field partners at region, area, and location level while demonstrating a continuous improvement mindset and adhering to our company values.
**Responsibilities**
+ Weekly / Daily coverage of Route Planner schedules
+ Dispatch daily routing using specialized routing software and tools tailored to KDP
+ Communicate daily with locations to coordinate resources, drivers and trucks, and specific customer delivery needs and routing solution effectiveness
+ Solve daily routing solutions based on daily workload, tight geographical areas, proper sequencing, balanced workload, and customer/driver continuity
+ Ensure routing solution complies with DOT hour and weight regulations
+ Ensure routing solution achieves location productivity targets for hours, stops, and cases

The AWS Infrastructure Capacity Planning Team is searching for a passionate and talented Regional Capacity Planner to drive capacity planning across multiple AWS regions, resulting in a single plan of record for each region. You will have goals to improve infrastructure utilization as well as availability. You will work across the AWS Organization to align demand with data center capacity and coordinate execution planning across AWS.

Key job responsibilities
- Plan data center capacity for the 0-24-month horizon.
- Plan for rack retirements and migrations based on infra needs.
- Plan for network requirements per site for order plan and network reserve.
- Plan and initiate dedicated spine builds, intercept builds and resize per the recommended planning values.
- Intercept builds for emerging customer requirements and communicate changes per established process.
- Resolve racks on hold blockers to meet the org goals.
- Resolve blocked order blockers to meet the org goals.
- Resolve position usability defects to meet the org goals.
- Initiate and manage projects to meet power usage targets.
- Perform customer impact analysis as needed.
- Work with supply chain and service owners to prioritize rack landings in constrained regions.
- Prepare and present mitigated views in weekly review meetings.
- Deep dive and communicate supply changes (WoW, MoM).
- Perform position inventory and build updates as needed.
- Work with brick planners and network TPMs on resolving position constraints.
