Required Experience:

The MIL Corporation seeks a RPA/AI Developer (Robotics Process Automation, Senior Analyst) to support a federal government client in Washington, DC.
Most of the work performed under this contract shall be performed at client's Washington, DC facility. Telework may be permitted at the sole discretion of the client and must be approved in writing in advance. The Contractor staff will be required to periodically provide after-hours support, including during weekends, to meet critical needs such as release deployments, break/fix activities and training of evening and midnight shift staff. It is anticipated that most after-hours support can be performed remotely.
This position is currently unfunded and is being posted in anticipation of a future contract award and funding approval. We are proactively identifying and engaging with qualified candidates. While candidates may be contacted for pre-screening, any hiring decisions will be contingent upon funding availability and final program requirements or client approval.
Responsibilities
- Support a team in the design and deployment of RPA/AI automation solutions utilizing UiPath and other tools
- Provide deployment and post-deployment/O&M support for automations.
- Support both on prem and cloud-based deployments of RPA and AI automations.
- Help identify solutions that utilize various RPA, Chatbot, and cognitive tool capabilities

Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience building and deploying automated bots using UiPath platform
- Experience with RPA software such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Kofax, etc. UiPath is preferred.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and at least one other programming language such as C#, Visual Basic, Python, Javascript, or Java. Clear understanding of the .NET Framework and REST APIs.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Summary:
In this role, you will identify, evaluate, and support the implementation of process automation initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with business units, subject matter experts, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) developers to deliver scalable and efficient automation solutions. You will bring your passion for operational efficiency and fluency in automation concepts to drive change through data and process insight. You will be part of a forward-thinking RPA team reshaping how we work through smart automation. You will be pivotal in identifying meaningful automation opportunities and delivering high-impact, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and prioritize automation opportunities through process discovery and stakeholder interviews.
- Document As-Is current state and To-Be future state process maps using industry-standard modeling tools.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for RPA solutions.
- Partner with RPA developers to ensure clear handoffs and accurate solution design, as liaison between business needs and technical implementation.
- Support the RPA lifecycle from ideation through deployment, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination, training, and post-deployment validation.
- Maintain the automation pipeline/backlog in collaboration with the RPA lead or Center of Excellence (COE), ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Conduct benefits realization analysis, including time savings, Return on Investment (ROI), and performance metrics.
- Serve as an RPA evangelist by promoting automation best practices and educating business users on capabilities and use cases.
- Assist in managing change impacts, communication, and stakeholder engagement during automation rollouts.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- 2 or more years of related experience required.
- Strong understanding of RPA concepts, tools, and lifecycle, preferably UiPath or similar platforms like Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or Blue Prism is required.
- Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering, and facilitating workshops required.
- Experience working directly with RPA developers in an RPA Center of Excellence preferred.
- UiPath Business Analyst training or certification preferred.
- Familiarity with automation opportunity assessment frameworks such as Process Design Documents (PDDs) and complexity / value matrices preferred.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum environments preferred.
- Exposure to tools such as UiPath Automation Hub, Process Mining, or Communication Mining is a plus.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
