**Responsibilities:**

**Qualifications:**
+ 2-4 years previous sales or finance experience preferred
+ Sales oriented individual proficient with the following skills: professional oral and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building, follow up, computer experience and analytical thinking and problem solving.
+ Must have the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented & results driven.
**Education:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent

**Responsibilities:**
+ Work with business credit requests less than $250K, recognize/refer larger lending opportunities and cross sell treasury and related small business products
+ Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program
+ Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement appropriate sales plans to target Book of Business customers

**Qualifications:**

+ Identify, build and deepen relationships to gain incremental wallet share of the affluent and High Net Worth segment through the use of financial planning and excellent discovery and profiling skills.
+ Anticipate the complex financial needs of the client and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services and tools based on client profiling.
+ With the support of product specialists, intuitively recognize and understand a client's banking, credit and investment needs and goals in order to provide holistic financial solutions.
+ Provide regular value-added engagement with clients- High touch, face-to-face meetings at client's preferred location, consistent communication, access to seminars, etc.
+ Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio.
+ Proactively source, acquire and expand high value customer relationship by maximizing sale and service opportunities.

**Qualifications:**

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and experience using NaviPlan Select or similar financial planning software preferred
+ Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred
+ Must be a self-starter, problem solver and a goal-oriented team player able to work without direction
+ US: Current Registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65 are required for the role. Individuals with Series 7 and 66 or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
+ Insurance group 1 required; will give 120 days to obtain if not already held.
+ This position requires the employee to register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry ("Registry") and obtain a unique identifier from the Registry before referring interested clients to Citibank for their mortgage needs, to maintain and renew that registration on an annual basis, to update registration information with the Registry on a timely basis, and to provide that unique identifier to consumers as required by applicable SAFE Act regulations and Citi policies and procedures.

Job Description
Acts in a liaison capacity for mortgage originators and customers providing follow-up and resolution to questions and concerns. Provide general sales, marketing and operational support for assigned mortgage originator. Adhere to the requirements of federal registration under the SAFE Act.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Assist Loan Officer in developing and managing a referral source, prospect and customer base.
+ Assist Loan Officer in developing and implementing marketing/sales support programs to develop new business.
+ Interact with customers to complete the application process, ensure all necessary supporting loan documentation is obtained and accurate.
+ Provide follow-up on loan conditions as required by commitment letter.
+ Interact with Production department personnel (processors, underwriters, closers) to ensure loan application file is complete, loan documentation is satisfactory, conditions are met and loan can close within required time frames.
+ Serve as communication liaison between customer, M&T Corporation and loan officer. Initiating and answering calls to/from customers as required in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
+ Maintain and organize current and required loan documents for all loan programs as needed.
+ Take loan applications as necessary and input loan data into processing system via laptop.
+ Assist Loan Officer in providing required reporting as needed.
+ Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
+ Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
+ Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
+ Responsible for meeting and maintaining registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act.
+ Complete other related duties as assigned.
**Scope of Responsibilities:**
Incumbent works under general supervision.
In many cases, incumbent will be the point of contact for customer to complete application process and for follow-up for outstanding items needed to provide a complete loan application for processing.
Responsibility to establish and maintain federal registration requirements outlined in the SAFE Act.
