Job Summary:
The Lead, Sales Data Analytics serves as a critical thought partner to the commercial sales leadership team by providing strategic insights, performance analytics, and data-driven recommendations to inform sales execution and optimize go-to-market strategies. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Americas, this role leverages advanced analytics and business acumen to support decision-making across the organization's portfolio. The position plays a key role in enabling cross-functional decision-making through performance reporting, opportunity analysis, and sales force effectiveness (SFE) measurement.
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the primary analytics lead for U.S. commercial sales teams, translating data into actionable insights that drive performance and market share growth.
+ Design and deliver recurring dashboards and KPI reports (e.g., pipeline trends, win/loss rates, customer engagement metrics) to support sales leadership and front-line managers.
+ Deliver clear, executive-ready summaries of analytical findings with strategic recommendations for action.
+ Provide commercial insights that inform targeting strategies, product focus areas, and growth prioritization.
+ Support field leadership with ad hoc analysis and customized business reviews to evaluate competitive dynamics and whitespace opportunities.
+ Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy teams to align analytics initiatives with business goals and campaign effectiveness.
+ Apply advanced analytical methods to synthesize data from multiple sources (e.g., CRM, market data, sales reports) to drive high-impact decision-making.
+ Analyze physician-level, account-level, and market-level data to identify growth opportunities, competitive threats, and whitespace.
+ Ensure data integrity and alignment across systems (CRM, ERP, BI platforms) to maintain trust in reporting outputs.
+ Stay current on industry trends, data sources, and analytic tools to continuously enhance the team's capabilities.
