**Position Overview**
As the Global Director of Sales for Eaton's Filtration Division you will develop and execute on the business' worldwide sales, customer, and technical services strategy in support of sustainable revenue and market growth. You will have the opportunity to lead a global sales organization of 200 team members through 7 direct reports in the achievement of sales/orders, market share, price, product mix, and financial metrics. As part of the Filtration Divisions leadership team, you will define and implement comprehensive sales initiatives & programs supporting 4 business units while driving collaboration across the enterprise.
+ Develop global growth strategies to achieve division goals.
+ Manage key customer relationships using industry knowledge and expertise to forge and maintain relationships with key distributors
+ Coordinate global product portfolios and provide strategic guidance in new product development.
+ Participate in business growth, operational excellence, strategic and profit planning, organizational capability and other planning processes.
+ Ensure the use of up-to-date intelligence on business, markets, customers, and competition to create strategies regarding products, pricing, quality, credit and service to maintain and develop new business opportunities.
+ Develop sales and market forecasts, departmental budgets and maintains up-to-date product P&L data.
+ Participate in key customer and distributor interactions (trade shows, industry events) to generate new or expand existing revenues and relationships.
+ Lead the sales organization to ensure Eaton is positioned to outgrow the business's markets.
+ Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures in development of customer contracts
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business or technical field (MBA Preferred)
+ Minimum of 12 years of experience in sales, marketing, general business with 5+ years direct people management in a similar scope/scale role.
+ Experience in the Filtration industry
+ Proven success leading teams in both a direct and distributor/channel partner model
+ Demonstrated success achieving sales, profit, and growth goals,
+ Prior P&L experience preferred
+ Previous experience with talent selection, recruitment, and conflict resolution

The expected annual salary range for this role is $ 198,749.97- 291,499.96 note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Safran Electrical & Power is a world leader in Aerospace electrical systems (electric power generation systems, distribution systems, conversion systems, electric propulsion systems). Our mission is to lead the electrical revolution of the aviation industry through aircraft equipment electrification and novel electric or hybrid-electric propulsion. The proposed role is to lead, nurture the relationship and develop commercial activities for a set of assigned key customers, across all product lines of the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development activities
- Develop assigned key customer accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans and sales plans to capture new business opportunities.
- Develop and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share, and to ensure profitable growth and expansion of products and services.
- Contribute to the product research and technology roadmap activities by capturing the Voice of Customers in terms of future needs.
- Maintain general market awareness and monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events necessary to develop markets, gain customer base, and achieve business objectives.
Contract & Sales management
- Manage commercial and contractual issues with the Customer;
- Ensure compliance to the Mid-Term Plan budgets (non-recurring funding, volume of sales, price updates, cash-flow through accounts receivable collection);
- Coordinate the sales administration activities, ensuring that the booking plan is in line with the sales plan and providing accurate and timely demand forecast;
- Ensure compliance of the terms and conditions executed with Customers;
- Manage the quotation process in case of technical changes (requirements analysis, cost estimation, business plans, validation review, negotiation strategy validation);
- Negotiate commercial and contractual aspects with Customers (in conjunction with other directions - programs, legal, finance, .);
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and key strategic partners.
