**What will you be doing:**
The Sales Outreach Specialist is responsible for successfully promoting the use of Cedars-Sinai specialty services to referring entities including physicians, physician groups, and IPAs. The Specialist leads and participates in sales activities and provides strong customer service resulting in increased specialty care referrals to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CSMC). The incumbent understands and stays abreast of the specialty services, programs and products offered by Cedars-Sinai and promotes and shares this information to potential referral sources.
+ Sells and promotes Cedars-Sinai Services, Programs and Physicians by organizing offsite presentations, making cold calls, warm calls and scheduling face to face office visits with the objective of raising awareness about Cedars-Sinai services and programs to increase referrals.
+ Serves as the account lead for referring entities, tailors sales strategies and approaches based on client needs, and acts as a liaison between the account/referring entities and Service Lines/specialty areas.
+ Keeps abreast of new programs and services offered by each Service Line. Communicates all needs from referral sources to appropriate CSMC/CSMF entities in a timely manner.
+ Effectively handles referral related issues and problem solves based on needs, including resolving claims and service issues.
+ Collaborates with the Managed Cared team, referring entities and health plans to initiate or recommend new components for existing contracts in addition to LOA's and MOU's.
+ Participates in team discussions to identify where there are opportunities to leverage relationships and streamline approaches.
**Qualifications**
**Experience Requirements:**
Three (3) plus years of healthcare industry Sales experience.
Must have healthcare reimbursement and contracting experience.
Experience in cardiovascular, pharmaceutical, and/or medical device sales highly desirable.
**Educational Requirements:**
High School Diploma/GED.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, marketing, or related field preferred.

This role will be based primarily in the assisted living building/community and significant time is dedicated to working with external referral resources.
+ Full Time, 80 hours per two week pay period, Salaried. Monday - Friday
+ Weekend manager rotation as well as potential needs for tours and family visits after hours.

**Responsibilities:**
Establishes and supports a sales and marketing plan aimed at full occupancy for the Assisted Living /Memory Care Building (s)
+ Works with corporate marketing department to design and coordinate marketing & sales plans/initiatives
+ Develops and maintains effective, on-going relationships with external referral resources
+ Creates and maintains system for generating new leads
+ Follows Ebenezer Sales System guidelines
+ Ensures that marketing materials are current and available
+ Obtains and analyzes competitive pricing and market area trend information as it relates to the senior housing community
+ In conjunction with the Executive Director and Corporate Marketing Consultant, develops and maintains marketing budgets
+ Schedules and conducts tours
+ Makes recommendations for web content and changes
+ Implements pre-closings and closings of unit sales
+ Maintains data base on current residents
+ Maintains current Occupancy Reporting requirements
+ Manages wait list
Promotes positive customer relations
+ Provides guidance and resources to residents/tenants/families with their transition into and out of their home
+ Creates and maintains positive on-going relationships with customers including prospects, residents, families and professionals
+ Develops and maintains database of contacts, up-to-date records, and tracking per community requirements
+ Builds awareness about community with referral sources and other groups
+ Assists residents/tenants with their transition into and out of their home
Serves as a resource to senior age residents and families seeking information
+ Prepares or obtains materials from community resources and program files
+ Identifies and works with community resources to provide information and educational sessions
+ Organizes referral events, i.e. CEUs, seminars, hosting referral and community events
**Required** :
+ **Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications or equivalent experience**
+ 3 or more years experience (occupancy development experience)
**Preferred** :
+ Aging Services of MN Sales and Marketing certificate
+ 5 or more years similar experience (occupancy development experience)
