As a member of our Public Sector Named Account Team, you will help communities become smart, safe and sustainable. You can become a leader in the transition to data-driven planning and operations. This person will be responsible for selling SaaS and related mobility data offerings, executing successful sales strategies and tactics to meet annual and quarterly sales targets. You will bring your sales expertise to prospecting for new business, expanding existing accounts and closing deals with key State and Local agencies.
This position requires past success in prospecting, developing, and closing SaaS and/or data product sales. A working knowledge of transportation metrics, location-based services data (LBS), connected vehicle data (CVD), GPS, GIS or related geospatial data is strongly preferred.
The Public Sector Sales Director has a proven track record of successfully achieving and surpassing quota goals, and has demonstrated success at identifying and closing new, high-value opportunities. Previous experience selling to engineering, construction, transportation, government agencies, and/or architecture is a plus.
Location: Remote with expected travel to client sites and trade shows
What You'll Do:
* Develop comprehensive business plans and drive the execution of selling strategies in order to grow revenue while forming strong relationships with customers.
* Design and execute account plans to surpass goals and revenue targets.
* Drive sales to new customers and expand existing relationships through annual and multi-year contracts and value-added solutions in your assigned territory.
* Keep up-to-date with market trends and new developments, and utilize this information for business development and improvement.
* Manage revenue goals in your assigned territory and accounts.
* Conduct ongoing meetings and events with key customer decision-makers with the goal of uncovering and closing new opportunities.
* Attend relevant industry trade shows to identify new prospective customers, and promptly follow up on leads from various sources.
* Consistently maintain sales opportunity and customer status information in StreetLight Data's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
* Provide accurate and timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts in your specified territory.
* Interface with other functional groups, project teams and internal stakeholders to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers toward the goal of achieving assigned quotas.
* Provide regular updates to management, operations and support staff concerning account issues and financial status.
* Bachelor's degree in the field of business, marketing or engineering.
* 7+ years of experience in complex sales to customers in a recognized technology industry, transportation, urban planning, or architectural-related field. Experience selling to and working with public sector agencies is highly desirable.
* Proven over-achievement with responsibility for a multimillion dollar quota.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be fluent in English.
* Comfortable presenting to senior executive management and large audiences.
* Strong financial skills and experience in creating new business opportunities.
* Critical thinking skills and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential.

What You Will Do:
As a Coke Florida Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing On Premise business through prospecting and new outlet acquisition within an assigned territory. This associate will be responsible for 'hunting" for new business, acquiring new outlets, setting up new accounts and seamlessly transitioning of outlets to existing routing and replenishment structure. The position may cross multiple facility boundaries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Utilize prospecting tools to generate leads
- Prospect to secure new, competitive and non-buying accounts
- Proactively arrange time in territory to achieve optimum face-to-face selling opportunities
- Evaluate outlet opportunities and qualify opportunities to ensure new placement quality, then calculate IRR, if necessary
- Propose appropriate brands, packages & equipment to satisfy customer and consumer needs
- Generate financial analysis for Customer Marketing Agreements
- Determine appropriate sale coverage and replenishment method for on-going account management
- Coordinate account set up, initial equipment and product deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction, including follow-up with customer
- Enable seamless transition of outlet to existing routing structure
- Focus on Bottler's market goals and activation initiatives
- Track daily, weekly and monthly call activity and performance measurements against assigned goals and expectations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Supports selling activities including: (1) servicing any issues related to selling efforts raised by TPs, Clients, and Sales Managers, (2) generates selling opportunities, (3) assists all Sales Managers and TPs with strategic Sales & Marketing efforts.
- Reviews and acts on sales calls and inquiries for the various sales functions/fields, and Travel Partners. Leverages these interactions to create selling opportunities. Calls Travel Partners on behalf of the Sales Manager to assist in closing business, educate Travel Partners on the brand products, promotions and selling tools; introduces and/or creates brand awareness and identifies/qualifies selling opportunities.

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire (4-Month Contract to Start)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $30.+ per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying growth opportunities, building strategic supplier/manufacturer partnerships, and supporting the sales team to drive market expansion. This is a 4-month temp-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, contact, and build relationships with new manufacturers, suppliers, and strategic partners within the aviation industry.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activity.
- Analyze product performance, pricing, and margins to support business planning and strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing them with accurate product data, insights, and presentation materials.
- Support the development of business cases for new product lines or supplier relationships.
- Recommend and help implement process improvements to enhance business development and sales performance.
- Track and report on KPIs related to growth initiatives and supplier engagement.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales support, or supplier/vendor relationship management; experience in aviation, logistics, or a related technical industry preferred.
- Strong research, analysis, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
