Job Description
We're looking for a Lead Generation Manager to build and scale outbound programs that turn target accounts into booked meetings and qualified opportunities starting with email and expanding into channels like calls, LinkedIn, and targeted ads as results grow. As our Lead Generation Manager, you'll own list strategy and enrichment, sequence design and testing, deliverability and sender reputation, and scalable personalization with AI-run on a tight weekly cadence with clear scale/kill rules and reporting on the metrics that matter. You'll partner with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to align ICP, targeting, messaging, and clean CRM handoff so replies convert reliably-ultimately growing pipeline, improving conversion efficiency, and accelerating revenue. If turning smart experiments into repeatable pipeline and proving it week over week sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to talk.
What You'll Do
- Own and scale outbound (email-first) by building/enriching target lists, writing sequences, and sending at safe, deliverability-friendly volumes.
- Run a weekly testing cadence with clear hypotheses, A/B variants, and documented scale/kill thresholds.
- Protect deliverability by managing subdomains/warmup, setting up email authentication, keeping lists clean, and monitoring bounce/spam and domain reputation.
- Personalize at scale using AI (and video where helpful) with modular copy and dynamic fields.
- Turn replies into meetings by ensuring CRM capture, routing, and SLAs with Sales/RevOps, and closing the loop on lead quality.
- Report pipeline metrics: positive reply rate, meetings per 100 prospects, qualified meeting rate, SQL rate, and attributed pipeline.
- Document what works as playbooks, copy blocks, targeting rules, QA checklists, and simple dashboards.
- Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing on ICP, targeting, messaging, and timing.
- Expand beyond email once baselines hold by layering calls, LinkedIn, targeted ads, or direct mail.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in B2B marketing, including 2+ years owning cold outbound end-to-end.
- Proven outbound to pipeline results, with metrics you can share.
- Fluent with Apollo or Instantly/Lemlist (or similar) and a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Manage deliverability end to end - subdomains and warmup, email authentication, list hygiene, and monitoring bounce and spam rates and sender reputation.
- Run weekly A/B tests with clear hypotheses and scale/kill thresholds.
- Personalize at scale and write crisp cold emails that earn replies and meetings.
- Align with Sales/RevOps on ICP, targeting, and messaging, and ensure replies are captured and routed in the CRM with SLAs.
Who You Are
- Hands-on operator who brings structure and follow-through in fast-moving, ambiguous environments; prioritizes well, communicates trade-offs, and delivers.
- Measures success by replies → meetings → SQLs → pipeline, not vanity metrics (opens/clicks).
- Curious and analytical; runs hypothesis-led tests and iterates quickly.
- Clear, concise writer who crafts cold emails that earn replies.
- Deliverability-minded; treats domain health and data quality as non-negotiable.
- Systems thinker; turns wins into playbooks, templates, and simple guardrails others can use.
- Collaborative with Sales and RevOps; closes the CRM loop so replies become scheduled, qualified meetings.
- Uses AI and light automation to personalize at scale (and experiments with video when helpful).
- Energized by building Topline Pro's outbound foundation and working onsite in Brooklyn.
Hiring Process
- Recruiter Screen (30 min): A chance to learn more about Topline Pro and tell us about your goals and background.
- Hiring Manager Screen (30 min): Meet with your potential manager to go deeper into your experience and approach.
- Case Study & Presentation (45 min): You'll complete a short exercise to assess your ability to craft compelling sequences, lead campaign strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally to generate measurable impact.
- Onsite Interview (2 hours): Meet cross-functional stakeholders from Operations, Sales, and Marketing. We'll focus on collaboration, ownership, and problem-solving.
- Cofounder Screens (30 min each): Speak with both of our co-founders to talk mission, motivation, and where we're headed next.
What We Offer
- Competitive cash compensation ($100k-$120K) and equity package
- In-office role based in Domino Park, Brooklyn (5 days/week)
- Full Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage
- Monthly wellness stipend
- 401(k) plan (non-matching)
- Unlimited vacation, 9 company holidays, 1 annual volunteer day
- New hardware and workspace enhancements
- A fun, supportive team and regular cameos from our office dogs, Caro and Alta
Our Values
- No Bullsh*t: We create meaningful results for our customers and drive growth for our team-ensuring progress and impact are felt every day. Our focus, both internally and externally, is on delivering genuine value rather than superficial solutions or benefit without purpose.
- Think Big, Learn Fast: We move quickly, acting on data to uncover insights and solutions. We embrace risks, knowing every experiment fuels growth-even when it doesn't go as planned.
- One Team, One Dream: We tackle challenges together with creativity, and an open mind-always seeking solutions and embracing fresh ideas to win as a team.
- Empower Every Voice: We welcome diverse perspectives and bold ideas, creating space for authenticity and respect-because great ideas come from everywhere.
- Be an Owner: We take responsibility for outcomes, act in the company's best interest, and treat every dollar as our own. We move with urgency, think long-term, and take pride in driving impact.
- Boom!: We take time to celebrate each other's achievements, big and small-at work and in life-because shared success fuels lasting momentum. And we end all team meetings in a "Boom!"
About Topline Pro
We're building AI powered Shopify for service businesses. We help service pros (e.g., roofers, landscapers, painters, cleaners) acquire direct business, fast. Up and running within minutes using Gen AI, our digital storefront products help pros get discovered, trusted, and booked repeatedly.
Topline Pro is co-founded by Nick Ornitz (CEO) and Shannon Kay (CPO) with an excellent team of 80+ rockstars with plans to expand more in 2025. We serve thousands of local service businesses and were named as one of the 2023 and 2024 top 50 Tech Companies building for SMBs.

We're in a phenomenal position to scale-with the financial foundation, product-market fit, and momentum to go big. You'll be joining at an inflection point-where the groundwork is laid and the path to massive impact is clear.
We believe "great candidates" do not come about through simply a checkmark next to past experiences. We believe in hiring people not just skills. Even if you do not check every box but find excitement at the prospect of working with us in this capacity, please apply.
