Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Salesforce Administrator has the primary responsibilities of proactively improving and enhancing our client's Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, and designing best practice solutions.
- Be a key point of contact for the commercial organization to support and optimize the use of Salesforce.
- Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce systems and products, including upgrades/configuration for optimized integration with company systems.
- Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups.
- Import sales department leads, contacts, and other data.
- Maintain the sales cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
- Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing.
- Document processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
- Prepare reports and data extracts for the Commercial team and other departments.
- Manage Salesforce.com data and future updates.
- Update sales territories and maintain Salesforce campaigns.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies.
- Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience Requirements: Five or more years' experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment.
- Other Required Skills and Qualities: Growth-oriented problem solver who can create a scaled environment for company growth. Data-driven professional who is comfortable with data analysis and working with large data sets. Ability to work as a team player and follow company policy, procedures, and strategy. Experience with designing and implementing process improvements. In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator or Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to safely move up to 25 lbs.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Compensation
We pay competitively. Base salary range is $105,000 - $128,000. Other paid compensation and benefits may be available.
