The Senior Manager, Shopper Insights Walmart and Sam's Club will develop and deliver best in class shopper insights across multiple channels and key retail customers. This position will function as the shopper insights partner for the category development and sales teams, reporting into the Director of Insights.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Insights Leadership : Partner with the Director of Insights to develop and deploy the insights learning plan for sales/retailer teams. Manage research projects from the insights plan by helping outline objectives, identify information sources, and managing research suppliers. Analyze results from studies deployed and proactively prepare and present unbiased, action-oriented recommendations.
  • Retail Landscape : Proactively identify key business issues specific to each respective channel/retailer and provide actionable recommendations based on the research results. Monitor and report on competitive activities and market dynamics.
  • Strategic Recommendations : Translate insights into strategic recommendations for product development, marketing, merchandising, and sales strategies. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to implement insights-driven initiatives. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders but internally and with external retail partners.
  • Collaboration and Communication : Support the category management and sales teams with key insights to inform customer planning meetings, seasonal deep dives and line reviews. Support the sales team in driving the assigned sales goal and optimizing budget. Interact on a regular basis with key members of the insights and merchant team at the various retail partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Required, advanced degrees preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in consumer insights, shopper insights, category management or a related field within the CPG industry.
  • Experience working with Walmart and/or Sam's Club required.
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and retail environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Scintilla, Numerator, Excel, SPSS) and visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

The base pay range for this position is $128,000 to $179,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.

  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the entire studio
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with coworkers and clients
  • Be present for scheduled shifts and follow absence policies/procedures set in place by studio management
  • Meet with studio management on a regular basis regarding individual needs
  • Maintain professionalism throughout the entire studio including employee break room
  • Present yourself professionally while following dress code and maintaining good hygiene throughout shift
  • Participate in all trainings
Qualifications
  • Must have extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to sell and upgrade based on clients needs
  • Be empathetic and personable
  • Phone and active listening skills
