Description:
Labor and Delivery RN with previous travel experience is needed.
The position requires a commitment to working weekends as needed by the unit.
There are no set weekend requirements, but the traveler will need to work occasional weekends.
Weekends will be determined based on the unit's needs.
The role does not require on-call duty but may involve working holidays as needed.
Patient ratios are 1:1 - 1:2 during days and 1:1 - 1:2 during nights.
Travelers must float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
Refusing to float as requested may result in cancellation of the contract.
Local candidates are not accepted; individuals cannot live within 50 miles of the facility.
Finalized time off requests must be included with submission, with no time off allowed within the first week of the start date.
Not more than 7 days of time off is permitted per assignment.
Mandatory cancellation terms require cancellation 1.5 hours before the start of a shift.
Personnel may be mandatorily canceled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty.
Travelers are required to complete any assigned education within one week of the assignment.
The unit performs a range of activities including antepartum, labor, deliveries, newborn resuscitation and stabilization, and postpartum care.
Special equipment on the unit includes labor/delivery beds, cribs for newborns, and phototherapy lights for newborn care.
Compliance with Epic charting system is required.
References from a Charge, Supervisor, or Manager within the last year are required.
Candidates must not have felony hits in their background checks.

WCDC seeks to renew hope and purpose for those battling opioid use by removing barriers, providing a holistic approach to recovery, and utilizing evidence-based treatment to restore healthy living. Our top priority is to provide the highest levels of patient-centered care to those we serve.
WCDC is an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) facility using FDA approved medication paired with behavioral health counseling. Our individual service plans are built around patients in a supportive, safe environment to create a personalized pathway to recovery. In addition to recovery, we also offer planned patient transportation and family and social support.
What You'll Do:
Provide member care within the Dispensary and support medical providers as needed.
Dispense opioid agonist medications in alignment with regulations and standards, completing necessary documentation and maintaining medication inventory.
Perform health assessments, administer medications, and perform evaluations, including tuberculosis testing.
Supervise and coach Medical Assistants, LPNs, and RNs, fostering a positive and motivational work environment.
Oversee the completion of daily tasks, including patient intake, vital signs documentation, and other pre-visit preparations.
Ensure that Medical Support staff adhere to clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and standards required by federal and state licensing agencies.
Develop, document, and implement improved workflows that integrate the work of Medical Assistants, LPNs, and RNs with that of medical providers to enhance patient care.
Collaborate with the Clinical Administrator and Dispensary Manager to assess and address workflow or procedural gaps.
Ensure all Medical Support team members are familiar with standards and participate in ongoing training for patient care best practices.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including DEA, DOH, and all licensing requirements.
Oversee accurate and timely EMR documentation, ensuring standards of practice are met for all recorded patient information.
Participate in Federal and State Substance Use Disorder training as required.
Support the mission with all other duties as assigned!
What You Bring:
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a current Washington state license. BLS certification, or willingness to complete within three months of hire.
Minimum of 5 years in a clinical setting; at least 2 years in an opioid treatment program (OTP) or behavioral health clinic setting.
Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role preferred.
️Patient-centered and quality-focused, with a commitment to evidence-based care.
️ Strong leadership and coaching abilities with experience in team management and workflow optimization.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems, with initiative to stay updated with technology.
Work Environment: This role involves clinical oversight in a dispensary environment.
