The SAP BASIS Administrator will analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. This resource will also perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. The SAP BASIS Administrator will be required to provide technical expertise in support of SAP applications and install, configure, implement, and maintain SAP applications and related software. This resource will establish and implement standards for application operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
**The work:**

+ Provide day-to-day technical support for all program applications

**Here's what you need:**

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Subject Matter Expert (SME) with an active security clearance to support, maintain, and optimize a complex SAP enterprise landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in SAP Basis administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, with strong exposure to SAP Fiori, SLT, NWDI, EWM, SCM, ECC, and BW systems.

This role will involve migration, patching, and integration across multiple SAP modules while ensuring compliance with DoD, FedRAMP, and STIG hardening requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as SME for SAP Basis administration across a large-scale, secure SAP landscape.
  • Provide end-to-end support for SAP systems including ECC, SCM, EWM, BW, and Fiori front-end servers.
  • Install, configure, migrate , upgrade, and maintain SAP NetWeaver, HANA, and associated DBs.
  • Administer and support SAP Fiori apps, SAP SLT (System Landscape Transformation), and NWDI (NetWeaver Development Infrastructure).
  • Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and support ChaRM/CTS+ where required.
  • Perform system performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead and support patching, kernel upgrades, SPS implementation, and DB maintenance.
  • Good understanding of disaster recovery, high availability, and backup/restore strategies.
  • Apply DoD STIGs, security patches, and compliance requirements for ATO readiness.
  • Provide guidance on integration between ECC, BW, EWM, and SCM modules.
  • Create system documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and technical architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure to ensure system stability and scalability.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP Basis administration experience across ECC, BW, SCM, and EWM landscapes.
  • Hands-on expertise in:
  • Good understanding of Replication Scenarios (HANA, ASE, MaxDB) in AWS Cloud
  • SAP Fiori installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • SAP SLT replication and integration.
  • SAP NWDI for Java development lifecycle.
  • ECC / SCM / BW / EWM system support and upgrades.
  • Strong experience with SAP HANA, ASE and other supported databases.
  • Experience with SAP system copies, migrations, and refreshes.
  • Familiarity with DoD environments, STIG compliance, and cybersecurity hardening.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and performance tuning at app server, DB, and OS levels.
  • Experience in transport management, CTS+, and Solution Manager integration.


Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Certifications (Basis, HANA, Fiori, or relevant module) a plus.
  • Experience with SAP NS2, AWS GovCloud, or Azure Government Cloud.
  • Familiarity with E2E monitoring via SolMan or third-party tools.
  • Prior experience supporting DoD / IC SAP projects in cleared environments.
