We are seeking a seasoned SAP FICO Functional Consultant to spearhead the implementation of the Finance and Control (FICO) module for our organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements related to financial accounting and management processes.
- Design and configure the SAP FICO module to align with identified business needs, covering:

Basic Qualifications:

- In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and management concepts.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FICO and its integration with other SAP modules.
- Experience in customizing SAP FICO solutions through ABAP programming.
- Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and internal control frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and documentation skills.

The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.
**Scope of Position**
Corning IT is seeking a highly experienced and motivated SAP S4HANA FICO Solution Architect Stream Lead to oversee the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S4HANA Finance and Controlling solutions.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the success of SAP S4HANA transformation projects, aligning business requirements with technical solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across financial processes.
The Solution Architect Lead will work with Enterprise Platform Leads (EPL), Platform Delivery Leads (PDL) and Corning Enterprise Architect to define a business and application multi-year technology and capability roadmap.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
+ Serve as the primary contact for the FICO SA stream, coordinating across teams to meet project goals.
+ Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
+ Develop and maintain solution roadmaps to shape Service Line strategies and recommend architectures that meet business and compliance needs.
+ Provide cost estimates to support business case development and promote the adoption of standardized solution patterns.
+ Guide project teams in the design, testing, and deployment of technical solutions while driving innovative approaches to complex problems.
+ Offer input on IT investment prioritization and ERP capabilities, while staying updated on SAP S/4HANA advancements.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues, manage high-priority changes, and maintain vendor relationships.
+ Mentor IT team members and align them with enterprise architecture strategies.
**Experiences/Education - Required**
+ Bachelor's degree in IT management, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
+ 10+ years of SAP FICO experience, including large-scale SAP S/4HANA deployments.
+ Team leadership and change management experience with demonstrated success mentoring and influencing teams.
+ In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FICO modules, integration points between FICO and other SAP modules, and SAP best practices.
+ Extensive experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and working collaboratively across all organizational levels.
+ Strong communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical discussions.
+ Significant experience in achieving positive results among staff at all levels of the organization through demonstrated ability in developing consultative relationships.
**Experiences/Education - Desired**
+ SAP FICO certification is preferred.
+ Knowledge of reporting, analytics tools, and strategic agility.
+ Ability to manage ambiguity and maintain a positive, success-oriented attitude.

The range for this position is $151,968.00 - $208,956.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
