In this role you will get to:
  • Design, develop, and maintain data governance policies and procedures that ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the organization
  • Lead the implementation of data governance tools, data cataloging, metadata management, and data lineage mapping
  • Establish and monitor data stewardship practices, working with business and IT stakeholders to define data ownership, accountability, and standards
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote a data-driven culture, raising awareness around best practices, compliance, and regulatory requirements

Job Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in data governance, data engineering, or related roles
  • Expertise in data governance frameworks, data cataloging, metadata management, master data management and related technologies
  • Strong understanding of data privacy, regulatory compliance, and risk management
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with IT, business, and executive teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with digital manufacturing and related systems like ERP, CRM, QMS etc.

**What you will do:**
The Material Master Data Governance Lead within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) organization will be responsible for overseeing, managing and implementing the data governance framework for the Material Master Data domain. This role involves creating and enforcing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure effective and secure management of master data. They will leverage best practices and industry standards in master data governance to analyze process health, as well as ensure data quality, preparing for future governance tools and ERP solutions.

+ Own Material Master Data Governance processes, tools, and data standards
+ Ensure that data governance practices align with organizational goals and objectives 
+ Establishing guidelines and protocols for data management, including data quality, data privacy, and compliance
+ Define and engage functional data owners for processes including, but not limited to, Finance, Planning, Production Control, Procurement, Global Trades, Quality & Warehousing
+ Ensure that data practices comply with relevant policies and procedures to protect data privacy and security
+ Train and educate employees about data governance policies and best practices
+ Monitor and report key metrics reflecting the effectiveness of data governance initiatives
