**You are:**
The **SAP Security Consultant** performs system-wide analysis regarding the allocation of enterprise application functions. Develops analysis of system design in coordination with designers, architects, developers, and business analysts. Analyzes software development, hardware configuration, and system reliability, maintainability, and availability.
**Here's what you need:**
+ Minimum 2-year degree or 5 years' experience
+ 5 years of SAP experience in Security strategy development and implementation
+ Experienced in SAP Security solutions to include: ECC or S/4 required (S/4 preferred) with BW, BI/BOBJ, GRC, SAP Analytics Cloud a plus
+ Experience in deploying new SAP Security solutions to include system startup and configuration
+ Experience in supporting SAP Security full life cycle implementations from preparation to go-live and operation
+ Ability to interpret ABAP code to identify authorization requirement
+ Experience managing users and authorization assignments across SAP and supporting systems
+ Experience with and knowledge of SAP Security related tables and programs
**Nice to have** :

**Job Summary**
This position is a direct report to the Applications Group Products Supervisor. Working with the Principal Product Consultant, delivers SAP Security application support for a large, complex portfolio of SAP applications. Provides technical expertise, leadership, and consultative support to the business client, IT management, developers and staff in risk assessments, architecture, configuration design, implementation and operational aspects of information security plans, procedures and products with a focus on the SAP environments including ECC, CRM, Business Warehouse, NetWeaver, GRC 10.1 and other SAP based applications. This includes responsibility for the SAP systems and ensuring proper security support, and problem resolution input for the SAP applications. As the SAP Security Lead Consultant this role will: Design, develop and maintain SAP security management and architecture practices across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations. Advocate for exploring and leveraging standard solutions first. Ensure compliance with government and corporate security guidelines. Develop, administer and execute preventive security maintenance programs, oversee problem management, perform root cause analysis and corrective action plans, and administer and report on security SLAs. Serves as domain specific security subject matter expert for their assigned product line.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Design, develop, and maintain SAP user management and security framework across multiple SAP environments in addition to providing solution recommendations.
+ Ensure compliance with government and corporate security guidelines including Segregation of Duties (SoD), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) as appropriate, and Privacy related standards.
+ Develop and implements SAP security policies, processes, GRC, architecture, training, and communications.
+ Lead efforts to develop security build plans (security technology, operations, and management) to support the construction of the security architecture, ensuring that it meets the requirements and adhere to the related software guidelines.
+ May collaborate with IT Management, Legal, Safety and Security, Cyber Security and Law Enforcement agencies to address identified security vulnerabilities.
+ Create, manage and maintain user security awareness.

+ Train and/or mentor other team members, peers and clients as appropriate.

**Job Specific Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Management or comparable experience.
+ 6 or more years of related work experience in the technology field.
+ 4 plus years working with and supporting SAP applications with responsibility for security monitoring and oversite.
+ SAP experience.
+ Extensive knowledge SAP Security design, administration and configuration for Finance suite of products.

Application Security professionals develop and deliver solutions - including design and implementation of Security Roles, Segregation of Duties Analysis Rules, Security Role Provisioning solutions, Business Process Controls, Security Analytics, Enterprise GRC Solutions, and SAP Vulnerability Management that minimize the impact of internal and external manipulation of applications to access, steal, modify, or delete sensitive data.
