The Work:
The SAP Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing end-to-end SAP solutions tailored to meet the operational, logistical, and financial requirements of Defense programs. This role requires deep expertise in SAP architecture, a strong understanding of Defense business processes, and the ability to integrate SAP systems with other defense-related IT environments. The SAP Solution Architect acts as a bridge between functional requirements and technical execution, ensuring compliance with Defense regulations and specific needs.
The Work:
Solution Architecture & Design:

Design scalable, secure, and compliant SAP solutions aligned with DoD agency enterprise architecture standards.

Lead the development of SAP architecture roadmaps in support of DoD business objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Here’s What you Need:

Responsibilities
What you'll do.
We are seeking a SAP Solution Architect:
- To lead SAP architecture leveraging SAP products (such as S/4HANA, SD, EWM, SCM, BTP, GRC, Solution Manager, Datasphere, SAC, Fiori and Ariba cloud), third-party application (such as Adobe, Vertex cloud and Open Text) and Ford standard services (such as AFDS, APS, PCF, APIGEE, GCP, IICS).
- To deliver the architecture design of and perform POCs of system integration between SAP systems and interfacing enterprise and cloud systems.
- To deliver process design and information flow supporting functional work streams.
- To deliver the detailed technical design, such data platform, integration solution fabric, security and cyber defense, hosting and client infrastructure.
- To manage the technology catalogue in Mega Hopex.
- To guide the product teams in the development of the SAP ERP implementation of platform reference patterns and best practices.
- To provide architecture support such as troubleshooting application performance issues.
- To thrive in a fast paced working norm and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
- To collaborate with vendors, Ford IT and Business teams and meet the enterprise objectives.
You'll have.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related OR a combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in SAP
- In depth technical knowledge of S/4HANA migration eco-system, SD, EWM, SCM & F&A.
- SAP GRC, SOLMAN, Cloud ALM experience a Plus.
- Active practitioner of AGILE methodology and familiar with architecture runway.
- Familiar with SAP testing strategy.
- Strong hands-on PoC skill leveraging CDS Views, ABAP, HANA Query, Java, BTP, Datasphere
- Negotiation skills and ability to achieve consensus with several and diverse set of stakeholders/customers.
- Strong and open communication skills both verbal and written.
- Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Experience with SAP Enterprise Architect, SAP ISAF
- Functional experience in Finance and Accounting, Warehouse Management, Service Part Planning, Order to Cash, eCommerce, Purchase to Pay
- Experience in trouble shooting complex systems and performance testing and tuning
- Data center and Hyperscaler knowledge and experiences
- Project Management experience
- Technical knowledge and experience in MDM, GCP, HANA Database, DB2, Big Query, Qliksense Reporting, Linux operating systems, and enterprise integration.
