Job Description

Amentum is seeking a **Senior Continuous Evaluation (CE)/Vetting (CV) Security Specialist** to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and Office of Security (SIS) in Springfield, VA.
**Duties May Include:**
+ Lead and manage the contractor support to CV Investigations and Case Control Teams
+ Shall ensure the contractor support individuals/team provide timely security support to Personnel Security's internal and external tasking's, projects, and programs.
+ Document and manage collection of contractor team members Weekly Activity Report (WAR) actions in the SISP designated template and timeline to the Government Team Lead and/or Branch Chief
+ Responsible for training Investigative contractor staff with desired skillset and CE/CV operating procedures for their respective duties, as needed
+ Responsible for providing back-up support when a contractor vacancy exists
+ Responsible for keeping Government POCs (Branch Chief/Team Lead) abreast of staffing changes, personnel transition plans, personnel onboarding status, and training plans in a timely manner
+ Monitor and manage supported security programs and operations by providing status reports and recommendations to Government POCs
+ Provide agency level technical expertise concerning the personnel security disciplines and standard operating procedures
+ Monitor security compliance with PERSEC guidelines/procedures/policy through the review and analysis of appropriate metrics and records
+ Research, prepare and maintain security procedures/guidance for CE/CV as needed
+ Provide security guidance and analyze complex data for contractors using DoD and IC regulations and requirements and make appropriate program recommendations
+ Design and develop report capabilities, generate reports containing security metrics and other statistical information; and further prepare and present briefings on security database operations, and metrics, as required
+ Bring security issues to the attention of the government in a timely manner.
**Required:**
+ TS/SCI clearance and must be willing to undergo a polygraph exam.
+ Bachelors or equivalent experience in a related field.
+ Minimum 11-14 years of personnel security background investigation experience.
+ Comprehensive interview skills to detect anomalies, issue resolution follow-up, and obtaining coverage for developed information.
+ Demonstrate experience with clear and concise writing skills.
+ Excellent organizational skills to ensure required timelines and Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) and Expandable Focused Investigation (EFI) requirements are met.
**Desired:**
+ Certification, Federal Background Investigator Training Program (FBITP).
+ Certification, General Investigator (GS1810 series).

Maximus is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to provide expertise to a federal client in support of their mission critical systems in defense of our Homeland. 


As a key member of our team, the DevSecOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle and ensuring the reliability and security of mission-critical systems.


This is an on-site position that requires a Secret Clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Innovate, and develop cutting edge solutions through automation – IaC (Infrastructure as code), DevSecOps tools (CICD, Code quality, security, and monitoring).
- Ensure the infrastructure, services, and applications developed meets all standards including security, monitoring, performance, and SLAs.
- Demonstrable experience releasing production code and developing PaaS/SaaS
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain secure and automated infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including code scanning, vulnerability assessment, and threat modeling.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment of applications.
- Develop and maintain containerization and micro-services.
- Integrate security controls, such as automated vulnerability scanning, static and dynamic analysis, and security testing, into the CI/CD process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Automate and orchestrate security processes, including incident response and threat detection, using technologies like Splunk, Chef Automate, and others.
- Stay updated with emerging DevSecOps trends, tools, and practices, and provide recommendations for implementing new technologies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in DevSecOps practices and techniques. 

- Other additional duties as needed. 


Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- 8+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or related field.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Due to federal requirements, all candidates must be US Citizens without Dual Citizenship to another country. 
- This is an on-site position at a government facility.
- Requires presence on-site five days per week in Annapolis Junction, MD.
- Candidates must reside within a commutable distance.
- Participation in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency page-outs is required.
- Experience in any or all the following:

- Docker Enterprise, Splunk, Chef, Chef Automate, Chef (Ruby), Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Openshift

- Hands-on working experience in Terraform (IaC), Jenkins groovy scripts, and Python.

Maximus is seeking an experienced Release Manager to support a mission-critical federal program. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in software build and deployment, configuration control, and DevOps practices across multiple systems. 


This is an on-site position that requires a Secret clearance.

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-  Execute all DevOps and configuration changes across program

- Serve as backup facilitator for production stability release events.

- Facilitate the Change Request Queue (CRQ) and Operational Change Control Board (OCCB) meetings.

- Create and distribute agendas, meeting notes, and calendar invites.

- Send out notifications across the program.

- Manage software builds and coordinate releases/deployments to test, staging, and production servers for all mission applications.

- Review and update implementation plans in line with document  control policies.

- Distribute notifications for release activity.

- Perform GitLab Admin tasks including upgrades, patching, incident management, and user/account control.

- Other tasks as requested.


Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Active Secret clearance is required.

- Due to contract requirements, only US Citizens can be considered. Candidates with dual citizenship cannot be considered.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in a related DevOps, release management, or configuration control role.

- Experience with version control systems (GitLab preferred).

- Experience managing enterprise-level deployments across multiple environments.

- Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

- Must reside within a commutable distance for daily onsite work and on-call requirements.

- This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime. Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.
