Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities

Building Safety

You will play a key role in upholding the highest standards of safety and operational integrity for our client's extensive aviation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of operations, facilities, and equipment.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for identified hazards.
  • Investigate aviation safety incidents, accidents, and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO).
  • Prepare detailed safety reports and compliance documentation for regulatory authorities and internal management.
  • Promote and foster a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees.
  • Liaise with aviation regulatory bodies and represent the company during audits and inspections.
  • Stay abreast of changes in aviation regulations and safety best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation safety management, compliance, or operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations and standards (e.g., FARs, EASA regulations).
  • Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in safety reporting software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Aviation Safety Officer) are a plus.
