Primary Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.

- Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.

- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.

The Cooking School Assistant position will require you to support the Instructor, team members and guests in a class setting in the preparation and execution of planned meals and curriculum. The role requires knowledge of culinary techniques and assisting in the setup and organization of class, interaction and guidance with students, and ensuring instructor and student needs are satisfied during class.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.
The pay scale for the Cooking School position is $9.25 per hour. The Snow Sport School Assistant is responsible for assisting the Snow Sport School Director. This role assists with creating the Snow Sport school offerings and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Snow Sports School programs while ensuring a high level of guest lesson experience in a cost effective manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Snow Sport School Director in building and structuring the school offerings to best leverage demand, terrain, rental equipment and staffing
- Supervises instructors, classes and private lessons and participating guests when the Snow Sport School Director is unavailable
- Responsible for ensuring the classes and schedules are created and inputted into Whitepeaks software so that they can be booked and purchased online and in person
- Assists the director to interview and hire all seasonal personnel
- Assists the director in coordinating and conduct training sessions for both new and returning instructors, and support them on the slopes throughout the season
- Assists the director in scheduling and assigning instructors according to anticipated lesson needs
- Upholds the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions in a fast paced, potentially high-pressure environment
- Assists the director in ensuring that new hire paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner
- May participate exit evaluations and rehire recommendations
- Is able to safely navigate uneven and slippery terrain
